Dilly dilly

Effing kill me

The irony of the commercial being that they send the dude to the pit of misery for bringing a honey mead, or essentially a craft-style alcohol, yet Anheuiser-Busch can't stop themselves from buying up craft brewery after craft brewery.

A lot of the people in their spots are from The Groundlings - Flo, Jamie, a few others. The guy who knows all the names was in the cast the night future-Mrs Tif and I had our first date there. He was knockout funny, and had a line that makes us laugh to this day, and for our tenth wedding anniversary I had a couch pillow made with that line embroidered on the sham. So that spot gets a pass in our house.

For me it's essentially a so-bad-it's-good type of thing. Like, a few others and I will use it mockingly, but there's probably a small part of it that's sincere enjoyment for whatever inexplicable reason.

I wonder if they didn't have Flo, Jamie, the two additional competitor guys, the CGI box, etc., if my rates would be any cheaper. Supposedly they are paying Flo half a mil a year.

Yeah, she's a spokesperson. It's more likely half a million per spot, plus residuals for every time they air. If she's not making seven figures, she should fire her agent and set fire to the SAG offices.

I have Progressive auto and home, and I'm fine with my rates.

This "I AM THE GREATEST" commercial is no different.
