I actually told my TV to "oh, shut the **** up" the first time I heard that...you don't know what a computer is? Really? Hopefully you don't know not to drink the stuff under the sink either...

For some reason, car commercials like to use horrible hipster versions of holiday songs. I don't get it.

Ironically, Christmas Vacation - which actually happens during a holiday, but not on the road - is the only Vacation movie without that song in it.

That individual might be one that you have to be careful as to what pronouns you use.

I want to seek out the person who scripted that spot and kick them right in the ding ding/cooter (delete as appropriate).

When I saw this thread bumped, I decided to come in with the "What's a computer?" commercial. I see it's already been covered. Well done, fellas.

Coors is running radio ads that, among other things, tout the fact that Coors "cold lagers" its beers, with the subtext being that Coors does so because it cares about quality or some such crap. The verb form of "lager" (which is German for "storeroom") means to hold a beer in storage at a cold temperature, and every lager beer is cold lagered. It's inherent in the definition. If a beer is not lagered, then it's not a lager. The ad is every bit as stupid as it would be for Kentucky Fried Chicken to say, "Because we care, we make our fried chicken out of chicken."

We had some dude at work who flaunted the dress code. His excuse was that his shirts were designed to be untucked. Ok....

Actually, if you look at tailor sites, or places that make custom shirts, untucked is coming on strong.

Example:
Shirt Bottom Cut Styles Tailors Mark
Modern - This modern cut is appropriate for both business and casual attire. This shirt can be worn both tucked into trousers or un-tucked.
Traditional - The classic or traditional cut is best-suited for business or formal attire. The shirt will be best tucked in to the trousers as it is slightly longer at the back to ensure that it does not ride up when sitting down.
Straight with slit - Choose the straight-cut shirt for business, business casual, and casual shirts. Can be worn both tucked into trousers and un-tucked.

and:
BOTTOM STYLE
There are two options for the bottom shirt style. The Cut style should always be tucked in – the side cut is higher to make the shirt tuck-in easier. A regular bottom can be worn tucked-in or out. It has a flatter bottom with a lower cut height, which is useful when wearing pants lower on the hips – regular bottom is more versatile.

We don't wear powdered wigs or ascots or bowler hats anymore either...

The Peloton commercial that NBCSN will run at least a dozen times during the Penguins game tonite. Enough already...you blew this product up enough during Xmas. Fortunately, I have XM radio so I don't hear the song whenever I'm in the car, or else I might start pedaling subliminally.
