So, I've been trying to install the Ajax chat, similar to LGP. There has not been a good fix that went from PHP 3 to PHP 3.1.

I'm using his PHP 3.1 fix here - https://github.com/Frug/AJAX-Chat/tree/phpbb3.1

I got the chat up at chat/index.php

It's almost there. However, it doesn't show you actually in the chat and you can't type in the room.

Anyone have any PHP/coding knowledge to know what is wrong?

Sounds like a config issue is my guess.
Yes. It it works elsewhere, then I would agree that it's an issue with the php.ini file and/or you don't have a particular PHP module installed.

btw, @Kicksave, there's an "issues" tab on that link. Have you asked them about the whole blank looking thing?

Not on the github page but I've been blowing up the Google Group support page and the developers are non-existent.
