These lists are silly, as there are too many intangibles which affect where somone would want to live.

That's my point, though. If you look at the rent parameter on the left of the page, it goes from $0-1600.

$1600 ain't gonna do it. :lol:

If i could have afforded to buy a house in dc i would have never left, it was great. As it is, i settled to buy in pgh.

0.2* Job Market + 0.25 * Value + 0.3 * Quality of Life + 0.15 * Desirability + 0.1 * Net Migration ,
all based on totally judgemental category index values... :)
