I have a lump the size of an ornament on my head

The decor was fine - was just the massive 12 foot christmas tree my wife insisted on having when I suggested we could put cathedral ceilings in our great room.

It's extremely depressing.

124 dollars for acetaminophen.

Tylenol.

I paid 124 for 5 Tylenol.
That’s cheap, compared to what some hospitals charge. There was a big story on this a few years ago where they broke down costs, and showed how they varied depending on which part of the country you lived in. It’s absurd, and indefensible.
The one in Time magazine? Very good story.
That sounds like it. Bitter Pill: https://content.time.com/time/subscribe ... 64,00.html
The most terrible example of this is how two hospitals in Miami that are literally across the street from each other - the doors to their ERs are like 1,000' apart - had something like a 300% difference in cost for the exact same procedure.

That’s what I keep hearing.

First couple glasses in.

I’ve skipped too many birthdays without one. Decided to pull the trigger this year.

It took 1-2 days for that ish to kick in for me. And when it did it didn’t stop until the day of the procedure. Horrible

my first one back in the late 90's was horrific. 64 ounces of thick, orange liquid. the last 2 have been better. two 8 ounce glasses 6 hours apart. much easier to take.

Pretty sure I'm having a gout flare up. Yesterday was just my big toe. Today my whole foot is practically swollen. Ibu is not helping

I had my first one in a while this past week too. Must be the temperature change. It was in my left big toe and my right knee at the same time. I couldn't even hobble around.

I pulled the trigger on a Titan Mattress last night: https://titanmattress.com/products/tita ... 9269594202

It got pretty good reviews. Anything will be better than what I currently have.

I've heard good things about tuft and needle too.

Prop the old one up against the wall at the bottom of the basement steps. Just in case you have another decor incident.

128 Oz. of Colyte for prep. Watery, salty Gatorade like drink.

Clean bill of health. “See you in 10 years.”

Couldn’t have been much better.

Woke up at 4am and just couldn't get back to sleep. Laid there staring at the ceiling when it dawned on me that I don't remember what pure silence sounds like thanks to tinnitus. Mine is thankfully manageable, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Started with a runny nose Monday, turned into wooziness and fatigue with runny nose and slight cough Monday into Tuesday. Been working from home since. Still have a cough. I’m convincing myself it’s not covid. It’s just a daycare cold since my kiddo had a bit of a runny nose over the weekend but has since been fine. My wife hasn’t gotten any symptoms. I haven’t (to my knowledge) been in contact with anyone with covid. So it’s not covid. No need to go get tested, right?

Do you think the tinnitus kept you awake? I have it too, but only notice it when I think about it. There are times when I stare at the ceiling not able to sleep and now wonder if this is part of the reason why.

I don't think so, no. I had a massive headache which was part of the issue. It's just so noticeable when the house is quiet, because it's all you hear. I really hope that the treatments I keep hearing around in Ireland and Europe make their way over here, because I would pay whatever it costs to be included.

I've heard this from so many people and plenty of times, though not all, it turns out oops! it's COVID!
if you haven't lost taste or smell you've got a decent shot that it is just kid cooties.
related: sitting in a meeting last week and a vendor called about some salt spreaders we bought that the hydraulics are messed up on. he was planning to come by on Tuesday to check them out. we ask how he was doing and he said, "really not feeling well but I don't think it's COVID. I mean, I have no sense of smell and can't taste anything but there's no way it's COVID." DUDE! REALLY???? it's **** COVID! go get a test and DO NOT come over here!

I took pto today and was just going to rest, but HR asked that I go get tested. They said not only will it be better to just know for sure on their end, but our company policy is that if you get tested it’s a free pto day to encourage going to get tested. I’ll go to the free drive through testing and get it done just for ease of mind.
