How do you guys deal with canker sores? I've had two on my tongue in the past two weeks (one each side).

Really annoying to eat anything and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I feel like this probably goes beyond just work stress causing them.
Eat more yogurt.

Is anyone familiar with or had cubital tunnel syndrome? Over the last few weeks, I've noticed that when I lay in bed or in the recliner with my right arm bent, my fingers (ring and pinky) start to go numb, and I get an aching in my elbow. Seems to match the description perfectly.

Are you a side sleeper?

Usually start on my back (that's what she said). Eventually shift to my side. I take two Aleve before bed every night due to lower back issues.

I’ve had several sleep related issues and I think it’s mattress related. Our mattress is pretty soft and sags in my lower back and but area. I have a worn, thin pillow that I use between my knees when side sleeping and it works well. When sleeping on my side, I used to sleep with my arm up above my head and my head sort of in my shoulder. Definitely pinched things and affected my hand/fingers.

If sleeping on my back, similar start to you, I use the pillow under my hips/butt and that has been helping.

Realistically, think I need a new firmer mattress.

Thanks. Yeah I think I might need a new mattress. I like firm everything... Pillow, mattress, etc. My wife is the opposite.

Used to think that I had lower back issues - until my kidney stone. Since I passed it and changed my diet, I've not had any lower back pain at all for 2+ years now.

Aleve daily is not good for your stomach either.

I would look into a new mattress and/or a chiropractor.

This **** gets worse as you get into your forties.

truth. I see my chiropractor once a month for adjustments. I bought a new Casper mattress last year. I also do about 15 minutes of stretching each night before bed.

Not really sure where to put this, but if anyone needs to get their pa medicinal marijuana card or renew it, you can do it online here and save money rather than making an in person appointment with a doctor. I think it took me 13 seconds to get approved and saved me $100 going in person

I'm assuming you need a note from a doc that you've previously worked with or something?

Correct. A note from your doctor saying you fall in one of the conditions accepted.

Judging from my online conversation with the doctor, that would probably do it. She couldn't get off the phone fast enough. They probably have hundreds of people they are going through with this promo.

I'll write a letter in crayon....

It says you don't pay unless you're accepted, so it probably isn't that big of a deal to give it a shot.

That's wild... why not just legalize it? If you just have to call up a number, say you have anxiety, and get a card, just freakin legalize it. Of course I have anxiety. Everyone has some level of anxiety.

It would be legal if it wasn't for the Republicans in the PA legislature. This is Wolf/Levine making it happen without them. Anxiety wasn't originally on the list of conditions, it was added a year or two ago by the MMJ advisory board. Then when covid hit, telemedicine was approved by the Governor/ Sec of Health.

From one of her posts on reddit:

"My certifications take about 5 minutes. I do not ask for documentation for anxiety because I firmly believe that anxiety is something that can be self-reported by the person. Not everyone seeks medical attention to treat their symptoms, so therefore not everyone has medical records to prove their anxiety history. As a board certified internist for 20 years, I am perfectly capable of diagnosing the anxiety myself during our phone call."

"I truly believe that cannabis is medicine, and if someone wants to use cannabis as medicine, they should be supported to do so by being allowed into the PA MMJ program by a certifying doc such as myself."
