So it sounds like two weeks isn't out of the ordinary. Thanks.

And while it's not a contest, yes, shmenguin is killing it.

ha...though aside from back pain, i probably feel better than a lot you on a day-to-day basis. kidney stones, for instance, would be a far worse experience than what i usually go through. it's certainly a much more intimidating list when it's broken out in print than when i'm actually living it.

As long as he's skilled, that's really what matters.

That's what I was saying whenever I read his reviews but it does piss you off when someone who just operated on you doesn't give you the time of day after

I seem to have reached the full blown shingles stage (including fever and chills). This is not pleasant; off to the doctor in the AM.

Not yet, but ready to puke.
That could be the hockey game, of course.

I already called off work and am going to hit the doctor, if/when I can get out of bed. :(

Go ASAP, if only just to get things to manage the discomfort. What you really don't want to get is the postherpetic neuralgia--the nerve damage that results from these cases (I think it only affects like 1 in 6 or 7 people, but it's not pleasant, had a friend that had it). You are relatively young so you should be fine.

The odd thing is that I spent the first two weeks of my life at AGH***, because @Factorial and the other older rug rats all had chicken pox. I couldn't go home and be exposed. Eventually caught it, when it ravaged my third grade class.

*** No cam at the time, to my knowledge.

My sinuses feel like the have been draining since last week. My one nostril is a constant stream of mucus. It's getting really annoying at this point, but it's not something I feel the need to go to the doctor for I guess.

That awkward moment when you're meeting the new doctor at the practice and she's really smokin' hot.

Cough still bad (and trying to play hockey makes it worse) so I went into the convenient care clinic.

Apparently I'm not sick with anything that they can tell with a quick diagnostic check, so I'm currently sitting here waiting on a chest xray.

Apparently it's pneumonia. Cool. They said I should have had a fever, but I never noticed having one (it's fairly obvious when I do).

Had that mole removed. Incision about the size and shape of an eye and about 1/4" thick.

The local has worn off and sleeping should be fun tonight.
