Well, the doc he saw today thinks it's leukemia. He was admitted, and will have the biopsy this weekend to confirm. In true fashion - he always thinks the worst - he asked if it was a death sentence. Doc said no, and I hope that winds up being the case.

As usual, **** cancer.
After almost a full year in remission, his latest biopsy showed that the cancer has returned. He's back in the hospital to start chemo again, but it didn't sound positive. I have no idea what other options are available these days, but I can't believe that we haven't made more progress in this area. It's disheartening.

Got the flu. Probably the worst I've ever felt yesterday. Got up to 103.6. worst headache of my life. Down to 100.3 now so hopefully that's all done with soon. 0/10 do not recommend

My wife also is down and out. Had our nieces/nephew over this past weekend and they were just sick so I think she got it from them. I am unscathed so far.

The flu is hammering people this year. We had to call in our mobile unit to deal with the ED overflow we are experiencing in our flagship hospital

Was sick for almost two weeks almost right up until Thanksgiving. Hit the 103 mark for two days. Was straight dogshit.

The flu went around our house a month or so ago, but now it's some kind of cough, congestion, and in the case of my daughter, an ear infection so bad that pus was coming out of her eye (not pink eye). Now the middle child has the pus in eye. My wife has been coughing for at least 4 weeks now. I'm the only one out of the 5 of us that hasn't got anything. Waiting for the shoe to drop on me big time.

Yea, I have a lingering cough and congestion from it. Going on 4 weeks total from start of sickness. Couch and congestion is manageable, just annoying.

Neither was I. Felt miserable the second half of yesterday and figured I was going to get slammed. Completely forgot I got the flu shot and that I might not get all the way sick.
