I recommend a Philips Sonicare toothbrush. I've used one for years, with minimal cavities. In fact, I seem to only have old fillings replaced these days. I joke with my students that I have fillings older than them, and it's true...

I've got a Philips Sonicare, as well, and also highly recommend it. The water flosser was really just for more thorough cleaning as opposed to line floss.

I work in the people who need a machine to help them breath so they don't die in the middle of the night division haha.

I have a Sonicare as well. I have talked to several dentists and nearly all of them said that having a sonic toothbrush is one of the absolute best things you can do to prevent dental issues.

I know there are insomniacs among us - have you heard of or used a weighted blanket? I’ve never heard of such...but it is intriguing.

I don't have one of those, but one of the blankets that my wife knitted weighs like 30 lbs. There's no way I can sleep under it a full night, so this wouldn't work for me.

I tweaked my back the week after Halloween, and for the first time experienced surface numbness on my left thigh. The pain in my back went away in two weeks, but the numbness in my thigh hasn’t totally gone away. After an MRI last week I was diagnosed with a degenerative disk in my lumbar region, but it’s not compressed. Getting old sucks.

Weighted blankets are very common with autistic children. It stands to reason they could help insomnia and anxiety in adults. I did have more blankets than usual on the bed last night and I must say I was very relaxedI know there are insomniacs among us - have you heard of or used a weighted blanket? Speaking of getting older, I haven't worked out much since the summer because of back and leg issues. Once the chiropractor and a new mattress fixed things, I started with a 25 minute circuit training workout. Four days later, I am still store and can't bend over to pick anything up. My quads and hamstrings are dead.
20 years ago, I might have felt sore the day after the workout, but not this bad for this long.

I just ordered one a couple days ago. It should arrive tomorrow. I'll report on how I like it.I know there are insomniacs among us - have you heard of or used a weighted blanket? I’ve never heard of such...but it is intriguing.

Got in the weighted blanket and tried it out last night. I don't have insomnia, but I do have an anxiety disorder, and I've noticed in the past that I feel more comfortable in the winter when I'm under my heavy winter blankets. So I thought why not try out a weighted blanket and see if I like it. I bought one of these in the 48″×72″ 20-lbs size.

I think I like the extra weight. I certainly didn't find it objectionable, and I slept quite well. Now, I don't have problems sleeping in the first place. If anything I sleep too well and suffer from cantgetmylazyassoutofbeditis. I think it does give a feeling of being more secure.
The 20-lbs blanket I bought is theoretically washable, but I think it would probably kill most machine washers. The only thing I can think of would be to try to wash it by hand in my bathtub. That's why I bought a blanket that offered optional zip-off washable covers, and unless one is buying one of the really lightweight blankets, I'd look for that option.

I love the feeling of the lead vest when I get dental X-rays. Wonder if I can get one of those.

We have a heavy down comforter on our bed for the winter time. We wash it at the end of the season at a laundromat. It's really the only place that has a machine big enough to handle it.Got in the weighted blanket and tried it out last night. Interesting. Thanks for the reviews. My wife, who does not sleep particularly well and wakes me up frequently, has already put the kibosh on a weighted blanket - she thinks it would be too hot.

Been going to PT for a few weeks for my back injury. They put Rock Tape on it today. Anyone ever used this stuff? Does it work?
I was warned not to pull it off like a band aid, it will pull your skin clean off

Well, my shoulder's back to being painful, so the steroids weren't enough. Onto the orthopaedic surgeon now.

My new PCP is from Bosnia. She has a serious thick accent and looks like Martina Hingis.
