Now that the fever is gone I'm feeling much better. Yesterday was the absolute nadir of this whole experience.

My wife is in bed with that fever I had. I must have gone on vacation last week and brought it back to her. Whoops.

My fam has gone through the fever/chills rounds. I'm the last to get it. Started with fever/chills, fatigue, loss of appetite, now Montezuma's revenge. At least I've lost 5 pounds, so that's a positive.

If I could get that a couple times a month, I'd be posting in the fitness thread.

I'd rather be in the RIP thread than have to deal with this twice a month.

Possibly. Eat some bing cherries.

Or the start of arthritis.

It fully went away around 9:30.

I've been experiencing phantosmia (olfactory hallucinations) for the last several days—I'm smelling something that isn't there. It's a sort of "chemically" smell that reminds me a little bit of stinky new rubber boots with maybe a touch of hot asphalt thrown in.

Possibly. I've actually never had a Red Bull. The smell is hard to describe, but that actually makes sense considering I'm hallucinating it, and it exists only in my head.

Sounds kinda like fresh skunk spray, and that smell will linger for days. Maybe you're not hallucinating.

Yes, I am presently under the care of my GP and a neurologist. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Definitely not skunky. And I haven't been near a skunk in years. At first I was worried that it might be hot/burning wiring in my house. More like that.

I played in a beach ultimate tournament at Wildwood this weekend.

My body is/was not happy. The outside of my left ankle is horrendously bruised and swollen and giving me a tingling sensation when I touch above the bone. Pretty sure its sprained, but I don't have any other pain that would be associated with a sprain (tightness or trouble walking).

Anyone in here ever get a stress fracture in their ankle? I'm beginning to think that's what happened with the above.

My dislike for school is getting to be almost unhealthy I think. I start back on Monday and I have been kicked into a pretty good depression since I woke up Monday this week. I hate everything about everything right now; really took my wife by surprise and quite frankly myself as well. It just landed like a ton of bricks. I'm just so mad that summer is over (early, no less, who starts school on **** August 6th?) and now I'm going to be miserable until Christmas.

I'm not sure I'll make it out of this year without seeking professional help. Came close in the spring, thought I'd feel better this fall, but I'm already proper **** in the head about it.
