dodint I love that the gas surcharge is based off the total price. Convenient
Same. I understand fuel is a concern and I sympathize. But it's only one part of the service. It takes them about 45 minutes to an hour to cut my acre with two guys. On property that I used to cut on only two or three gallons of fuel. Plus whatever my portion of the transit time is to get from whatever job they came from to my place. I assume they're smart enough to group their jobs geographically since we don't tell them what day to come. So that's $28, each time they come out, to cover the increase in fuel costs since mid-March. Yeah, okay.

The message they put out wasn't worded very well so I'm going to wait to see what the bill is for the next cut before I do anything.

I'd love one of those Automowers. Unfortunately despite the fact that they have anti-theft technology I'm certain it would get stolen within a year. It'd be sweet, though. I'd have it cut the front every four days and the back once a week.

You could always have it mow on days you WFH, unless you think somebody would actually steal it while in operation.

The residential ones are too small and you can't buy the pro ones direct. Not sure what kind of hoops you need to jump through to have them sell you a pro model.

If I ever give up and go the lawn service route, your post will ensure that I read the contract thoroughly, so thank you for that.

I'm just pointing out that it's kind of a ridiculous thing to do.

It ended up being director of accounting anyway. So take that

I read it before I signed it. We've been using them for years so I wasn't concerned about any of the terms, even if they are very business-friendly. It just takes some cajones to turn around two months later and demand that much more money.

They've had some turnover in their billing department and are implementing new accounting software. Supposedly their head accountant/billing person retired over the winter and did some screwy things when settling the books; we were re-invoiced for some mowings that we paid for last summer. Just weird stuff. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but we've had more issues with them in 2022 than we've had since we started using them a few years ago.

Is your law practice set up as an LLC? Maybe they would sell it to you that way. Tax writeoff, etc., etc.

Yeah, I'm structured as a PLLC and I did think of requesting one that way. Who knows.

That's **** up, and yes, I'd go the riding mower route myself. Buddy of mine paid a fortune for an electric riding mower, but says it's totally worth it. I believe it's an EGO riding mower.
I saw that and I want it.

I have Rubbermaid’s FastTrack system in my garage, and hang everything from a ladder to air hose to my string trimmer. They do make a wheelbarrow hook for it. Highly, highly recommended.

Based on your past recommendations this is going to in our garage once finished. Been stock piling for a while on the setup.

I really do love it. Stupid easy to install (secure to studs or use anchors), and very flexible. I have too much **** to hang on the wall, unfortunately.

That reminds me. I see @NTP66 hasn't painted his garage. Our current house's garage was painted one of the primary Sherwin Williams colors, kind of a gold color. Should I get a flat white or something darker to cover up scrapes/dings etc.?

If this is a one time event, you can rent an edger or tiller from HD pretty cheap. I've gone the big tiller route before when tearing up larger parts of the lawn.

I bought a tiller that’s working like a charm. My existing beds need some help. Got a
Quote for 2300 to mulch and edge. I can get the mulch delivered for 220 so trying to figure out the easiest way to re edge the neglected beds

Does that work in clay? I have something similar but it gets like 4 linear feet and gets clogged
