Re-read my quote. I said, "If I was personally setting the line", not "If I had to predict the line". Meaning, if I was a Vegas oddsmaker and wanted to present a realistic line based on how I thought the game would play out, I'd go Pitt -2.5. I would think with the wealth of reading you've probably done in Tanenbaum, you would have learned a bit of reading comprehension.Predicting what you think the line will be is not the same thing as predicting Pitt will win. No amount of UPS spin can change what you wrote but I don't want to hijack this thread. There's a difference between playful trash talking and a legitimate prediction, son. I don't **** around with my Vegas line predictions.

Obviously I was talking up a PSU win. But when it came to brass tacks (again in February of this year), and I had to give my honest prediction, I admitted that Pitt would likely win. I correctly predicted the final margin within a half point. Don't start lashing out at Penn State fans because of your team's recent letdowns. We're suffering too. (that last part more directed at slappy. He gets the belt out everytime Pitt Pitts )my translation - if I was sane and not a UPS fan I would say Pitt should win. But I'm not so UPS JOEPA WE ARE

Again, that is not what you said. You said what you set the line at, not who would win. They are not the same thing, which you know. Instead, you want to ignore what you actually said, which is "When Penn State wins...." But based on experience, UPS fans often believe that what people say isn't what they actually said. Central PA is like a vortex where the truth is unknowable.

Am I the only one that sees the irony...there is only 1 group of fans on this board that is obsessed with Penn State football, and it ain't Penn State fans.

To be fair, we would be if we didn't suck.

If I could choose a Cub to keep them out of the World Series this year it would be Arrieta. Coghlan is a close second.
