Too bad, he signed a contract, live with it or retire.
In a world without guaranteed contracts, I disagree. Now if people want to blame the NFLPA for agreeing to this framework, that's a different story.

Antonio Brown is a turd. He's a great player, but just an overall turd of a person.

Steelers get to open the season in NE. Might as well get the beatdown out of the way early and in primtetime.

The Steelers schedule next year is the NFL equivalent of the Bataan Death March.

Last year's was maybe the easiest I've seen in 20 years so it evens out.

Isn't this the second or third year in a row they have their first game against BAL on a short week?

Also, games at San Diego and Seattle. Might have to make it to one of those, altho I've heard the crowd in SD is terrible towards road fans. (Like, one of the worst in the League kind of terrible.)

Pats open as six point favorites at home against the Steelers in the season opener. Is there a site that I can bet my mortgage on the home team?

I think this is another good year to not renew my Sunday Ticket.

Enough hopes a prime time or national games.

Ewww, they're in the Hall of Fame game with the Vikings. Ugly.

Damn, 9 of the games are at 1PM. It might actually be a Sunday Ticket year again. Though I live in an NFC market so I'll have to see how it plays out.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers: Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Many around the league believe Pittsburgh will grab a receiver as insurance against Antonio Brown's contract demands, but we'll stick with a pressing need.
I will burn everything to the ground if the Steelers take a WR in the first round. I don't care if Amari Cooper falls to 22. (Actually, I'd be okay with that. But only him.)

Just read that Marcus Peters considers Marshawn Lynch a mentor.

It's nuts, I saw reports this weekend that the Steelers were considering using a high draft pick on a WR. Monday morning AB shows up for voluntary workouts.

Between this and the Rossi nonsense sports media is becoming faux news

Yup. I think he has the chance to be a real big surprise this year. I'm sick of hearing that he's only 5'8" 170lbs. Watch his tape...he plays bigger than his measurables. He's lightning quick, breaks on routes downhill, and has the hands to finish. He is going to struggle with deep throws to taller receivers, but name a corner on the planet that doesn't. Perfectly thrown balls are pretty much indefensible anyway. Golson is a guy that will make the QB pay for mistakes...and the steelers haven't had a CB that could do that since.......Woodson? The rules have all but neutered the defenses ability to play physical on the outside anyway, so why even bother trying. We'll see if Butler brings a different philosophy this year to the Dbacks, but if the Steelers still insist on playing their CBs 10 yards off the ball on 3rd and 5, Golson's a guy with the quickness and instincts to make the QB have a thought. We'll see.

Deshea Townsend was generously listed at 5'10" and grew into a damn good cornerback for the Steelers. In general there seems to be a fair amount of CBs in the 5'9 to 5'10 range in the NFL. Golson is fast, quick, an aggressive tackler, and showed fantastic ball skills in college. If those ball skills transfer to the NFL he'll be a solid corner and his height won't really matter.
