Because it was a bad choice with the amount of time left and that doesn't matter if he already had 100 points in the game. Him making it doesn't mean it was the smartest decision. It just worked out.

Dame Lillard: Coach shmengy, they're gonna D me up with Paul George who's got half a foot on me and 40 lbs, I'm gonna wind the clock down to ensure we get the last shot in this tie game and drop a step-back bomb from way downtown as I'm basically the human personification of the NBA Jam HES ON FIRE right nowNot you too slappy. Not you too.Not really hard to understand that lillard was feeling it and therefore the shot is fine
Coach Shmengy: I have an extremely bad take for you...instead, you should do something else

To be fair, Slappy rips 60 yard shots when we play fifa. So no shot is a bad shot to him.

The game was tied. If he misses it goes to OT. BFD, all basketball games go to OT. If he was down by one I think the criticism might be warranted, but even then I think the outcome will trump any attempt to whinge about it.

A philosophy to live by.To be fair, Slappy rips 60 yard shots when we play fifa. So no shot is a bad shot to him.

It worked out because he was making every shot he took and PG13 was sagging expecting him to drive so he took the deep three knowing it was uncontested and banged it for the series W. Not like it was a hail mary. Driving it on PG13 had lesser odds the way he was shooting the ball than that shotBecause it was a bad choice with the amount of time left and that doesn't matter if he already had 100 points in the game. Him making it doesn't mean it was the smartest decision. It just worked out.

Yes. I saw a silly stat that his 3 % behind 35 feet this playoff is the highest in a long time everIt worked out because he was making every shot he took and PG13 was sagging expecting him to drive so he took the deep three knowing it was uncontested and banged it for the series W. Certainly not whinging about it. I don't give a sh*t. It was not the highest percentage play they could have gone with. Probably not even in the top 5, but it worked. The fact that it worked out doesn't mean it was the highest percentage play to run, and that's all I'll say on the matter.any attempt to whinge about it.

you mean the guy who got the dagger in his eye thinks it was a bad play?Paul George is on record, with the opinion that there were better attempts available to score on him. But okeydokey.

Sixers got absolutely demolished by Toronto last night. The stars of "The Process" (Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid) looking like utter trash. feelsgoodman.jpeg

So in what I consider to be a completely stunning and unexpected move, John Beilein is leaving Michigan to coach the Cavs.
