He started wearing one knee brace in 98, so he spent about 2 years in WWE without a knee brace. He started wearing double braces in 99.

Also Madden and Dax from FTR got into a tussle this morning because Madden called WrestleMania the "real show." He's not wrong though, absolutely all eyes were on Wrestlemania. That doesn't make AEW any less great, it just means that WWE still and will likely always have a serious edge.
Is AEW really trying to compete with **** Wrestlemania? Mania had a 35 year head start on AEW. Maybe we should give it some time. Also the notion that one wrestling show is "real" and one isn't based only on audience is ridiculous. That's like saying Marvel movies are the only "real" movies.

I don't think any wrestling promotion is ever going to be as big as WWE. It's just not possible.

The simple fact there is so much good/great wrestling going on everywhere right now in so many different promotions is the good thing about all of this. No matter what kind of wrestling you like it is pretty much easily accessible to you.

Well, I look at it as there are a ton of fans who want AEW and WWE to compete against each other. Only one of these groups have Wrestlemania, which to me is equivalent to the Super Bowl.

Me personally, I think it's two different types of brands all together. WWE is the "moment" brand, which has shown to be pretty popular as they're capturing people outside of wrestling by creating bits and moments of entire segments.

AEW is the wrestlers paradise, where if you want to watch wrestling, warts and all - it's AEW and that's about it.

Do I think AEW can create an event like Wrestlemania and the spectacle it's been since its inception? That answer is pretty much, no.

Madden has something against AEW. I've pretty much only ever heard him putting it down. Basically the way he acts if someone snubs him or whatnot. Maybe he asked TK for a job and he said no.

Acting like a match is only real if there are 70k people in a stadium is just dumb. TK has flat out said he wasn't comfortable having a show on Wrestlemania weekend but it was planned before he took over.

WWE are the ones who have tried competing directly multiple times (putting nxt on the same night as Dynamite, running Smack down an extra half hour that one time, etc.

No one is ever going to touch WWE at this point. They have too much of head start, too much money, etc. That doesn't mean everything else is irrelevant though.

For some reason though, there is a vocal set of people who want to constantly put them against each other and have some set of flawed reasons as to why everything one does rules and the other sucks.

It reminds me of console wars except I can sort of understand one wanting to justify their purchase by claiming their system is the best. If both succeed, wrestling fans are the winners. I watch both. I watch AEW's weekly shows and WWE's PPVs PLEs. It's the best of both worlds and as soon as AEW joins up with HBO or another streaming service to offer their PPVs, I'll watch those too.

Apparently WWE is going with “Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.” Seems like the perfect opportunity to ditch the universal name but nah.

Flipped on raw to see if they led off with Cody. They did. He looks happy (other than crying about his dad)....making lots of money too. Good for him.

I'm doing my best to watch this one because it's the post-Mania RAW, but there are so many things they could have done besides the soap opera-esque "I'm not him, I'm his brother."

Although I will admit that I was surprised to see him not only return to RAW, but the post-Mania RAW.

hey, that's former Pirates pitching prospect Rinku Singh's music.
Rinku Singh Rajput (born 8 August 1988) is an Indian professional wrestler and former professional baseball player. He is currently signed to WWE, where he debuted on the Raw brand under the ring name Veer Mahaan.

Singh was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates organization after he won a pitching contest on a 2008 reality television show The Million Dollar Arm. He was the first Indian to play professional baseball and spent several seasons in the minor leagues, reaching the Single-A level.

He is the subject of the movie Million Dollar Arm.

Balor could be a huge star but because he’s short he won’t get out of the mid card in WWE.
