The first part of this is why I went for an MBA. My undergrad was in education and I wasn’t going to get a 2nd bachelors. Honestly it’s just a money hole for students, gets the college recognition because they have a robust population of students in the program and all around is just a resume padding option. Graduate programs in general are typically jokes. It doesn’t behoove the college to fail grad students and the students typically know they’ll have to do some work.imo if you didn't take any business classes during your 12394872039587 years of schooling, there might be some value to an MBA. not a ton of value, but if you are an awkward, Columbia hiking shoe/short sleave button down wearing nerd, you might benefit from an MBA.Yeah... seems more or less just a piece of paper to me, but was curious.
I don't see the value of getting an mba right out of college.
speaking of value, I know everyone is saying "it depends on the mba' but c2i would be getting an MBA from UPS so we all know the value of anything ups related is somewhere between trump university and swaggin university.

I had to send about two dozen small reports to someone, so I zipped them up for an easy email attachment. About an hour later, I get a response that says "how do I open this file?".

WinRAR

Been a while since I used that one. I always install 7-Zip these days.

One of my big annoyances when I was working in Patch Management was tracking down the handful of people that were still using WinRAR and making them update.
I prefer 7-Zip at home.

When you see your first paycheck after you got promoted and switched roles it makes Wednesday feel like Friday.....that 25k a year salary difference makes a nice jump in the paycheck even after all the taxes taken out.

We're being forced to work a Saturday for FYE. They said they'd pay us time and a half for when we go over 40 hours (normal week is 37.5), so guess who is working 8 hour days this week to get their money's worth when they have to work on a weekend?

Nope. My normal schedule is 8:30 to 5, which is 8.5 hours. We get an hour for lunch. Therefore, 7.5.

It really isn't. I don't get paid anywhere close to what my position is actually worth, in terms of both workload and job knowledge.
