Said tribute album is called, believe it or not: A Tribute to Joni Mitchell.I’d mos def enjoy this.I'll check it out. I listened to another Joni tribute album yesterday ... title escapes me now but it features Elvis Costello, Björk, kd Lang, Emmylou Harris, Sufjan Stevens, among others. Good stuff. Elvis is trying too hard, tho.

It's an Exile on Coldharbour Lane morning.
(Yes, I'm aware it's a cover).

From the time flies file- it has now been as long between "Everything Must Go" and today as the famously eternal time between "Gaucho" and "Two Against Nature."

TIL that Wendy & Lisa from The Revolution made music as a duo after leaving The Revolution. I knew they did (and still do) score composition for film and TV shows and such, but I didn't know they did like rock songs and stuff.

Andy Thorn released an instrumental banjo Christmas album over the weekend, high country holiday. It's quite nice (and isn't just a banjo)

This led me to googling Vaporwave. I've heard of it before, and maybe it had something to do with hearing the term vaporware. But I also didn't realize there were sub-subgenres of vaporwave.

Ha, I think you may be surprised. It's a very nice album. Fiddle, banjo, cello, piano and bass.Source of the post banjo Christmas

My kiddo asked me this weekend if there was a "Fall Out Girl" band...
Figured I'd look to see if there was some sort of bubblegum/pop punk female lead singer groups we could listen to. I actually found one that toured with FOB last year, and my kid really digs 'em.
I tried Paramore, but she wasn't a fan of the new album. Classic Paramore, though... she was really into that.
