Heh, my dad used to work in the Litchfield Towers there. I used to walk from his office to the O via the loading dock by that pedestrian walkway.

'Crootin News...

DE Tyjuan Garbutt and LB Nathan Proctor are set to announce their decisions today.

Word broke yesterday Proctor is going to stick with his commitment to VT. Best of luck to him, except when VT plays Pitt.

Garbutt is down to Pitt and VT. At 6'3" and about 220-225, he'd be a prototypical DE in Narduzzi's system. He also had offers from UGA, Florida, Michigan St, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Ole Miss and UNC. This is probably a coin flip. Hopefully Pitt gets him, but I won't be surprised at all if he picks VT.

Some recent thoughts from Chris Dokish on Twitter...

- the mystery Pat Signal from a week or so ago was likely DT Jaylen Twyman (had offers from Florida, Louisville, Mich St., Tennessee and South Carolina). With Watts and Camp already in the fold for the defensive interior, Twyman would be a nice addition there.

- Pitt may get a flip from DE Guy Thomas, another big-time DE talent who is currently a Nebraska commit. He had Bama, FSU, LSU, Miami and Michigan as well. Dokish also expects them to land DE Zion Debose. Debose has offers from VT, Missouri, Illinois, Western Michigan, Cincy and Rutgers.

- Pitt will get one of the two RBs that they are chasing - either AJ Davis or Kyshaun Bryan. Bryan is deciding between Pitt, Iowa and South Carolina. I'd be thrilled with either one, but Davis looks like he may be really good at the next level.
