Jurkovic should have always been Pitt bound, and him going the route he did was the worst mistake of his football life, imo.

I was thinking that, but if that was the case, either Pickett transfers last year if Phil was the man and we don't have that magical year, or he only plays 2 years (this year and next) at Pitt.

Jurkovec's best year came under Cignetti. As much as I would like to see us pivot to Yarnell and develop him, I think the new reality of college football is that we're going to be hunting for a QB in the portal on basically an annual basis. If Jurkovec can get back the magic he had with Cignetti it will be an improvement over what we saw this year with Slovis.

I think the same thing is going to happen with Minchey. He’s going to get buried on their depth chart.

Baldonado to the East-West Shrine Bowl. I think his stock suffered a bit this year, but he's got NFL size and good pre-draft workouts could help. If he wasn't ineligible for NIL deals I think he would be sticking around for another year, but at this point I guess he's looking to get paid the only way he can.
