There was another one of those that was just published recently, and it wasn't really that good. I initially thought the above was that clip and wasn't going to watch it. I'm glad I didn't do that. That was really fun!

They are launching (or already have launched) a new AR app for smartphones that will enhance the guest experience.

Yeah the hope that people don’t immediately go to Smugglers Run... that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Crowds, for the most part, are dumb. They either go straight to the most popular ride regardless of wait time or they go on the first ride they see when they enter the park. That’s why spaceship earth always has ridiculous wait times right at park open.

Do you really think people WONT go straight to the only ride in the land?

Whenever it is that we go, I'll be perfectly happy to just wander around for a while. They're apparently having cast members in wardrobe interacting with kids to help them with their Resistance mission, which I'm like "I want to help the Resistance, too..."

Saw an article stating that the executor of Carrie Fisher's estate finished all administrative tasks and are ready to proceed with the final distribution of the estate to her daughter, who is the sole beneficiary and will receive all future earnings related to Princess Leia. None of which is surprising. Which was surprising to me is that last year her estate was appraised at $6.8MM, which seems incredibly low for somewhere with her career as an actor and writer, without even considering the decades of Star Wars royalties.

I don't know about Ford and Hamill, but Fisher signed away her name and likeness rights. So there were no royalties for her as far as merch licensing off the OT goes. Residual income would not be significant, as I think she (and Hamill iirc) signed on for a pittance (sub-1%), so we're talking maybe six figures a year (?) with the recent increase in interest in SW. She probably would have made far more as a screenwriter and novelist than she ever did as Princess Leia.

But that estate valuation is, I think, after all debts have been settled and would not include her Beverly Hills home which was sold for $18 million last year; those proceeds went directly to Lourd who in turn donated much of it to charity.

That meme predates Porgs by 15+ years. In fact, it might have originated pre-prequels; Jar Jar is the only prequel character I see, might have been added after the fact.

Say, that looks like Darth Maul in the left hand corner. It's part of the original artwork, though.
