That poor dog!!

The Father's Day posts are still in my feed...ugh.

I had two people wish me happy fathers day via FB messenger. I told them both "is there something I don't know?"

One was more of a mutual friend where we shared a lot of friends and we ended up adding each other sometime in the last year, so that one is kinda understandable. The other one was somebody who I went to high school with, and they somehow thought I had multiple kids and insisted that both played baseball.

Our guy is doing AMAZING! I can’t hardly comprehend the progress he’s made since his accident Friday night. This kid was on a freakin ventilator when I got to him Saturday morning, and today he walked to me by himself and hugged me tighter than ever before. My mind is just so blown by his recovery thus far. Thank you so much for all of your prayers, they were felt, heard and answered! Praise God! What a blessing!

Post from a friend. That's great that he has recovered so quickly but no thank yous to the medical staff it was all God and the prayers!!

I have a friend who did the same. Dropped like 80 lbs in 6 months. Honestly it looks like he dropped too much weight, like he almost looks sick now, but I'm not gonna tell him that. Anyways, he got on the sugar and processed food soapbox over the last week and every post closes with that similar "and I was able to knock off the weight. PM me to if you want to know how I did it."

I want to ask just to see the response that I would get, but I don't want the constant MLM spam hitting my messenger every day.

It's basically George Carlin's 'Jesus Made Me Drop the Ball' bit but with doctors instead of football players.

- Irritating people don't know how to use Facebook yet to enable notifications on a post and clutter it with "." or "Following"
- Shared accounts like "Bill n Mary"
- How many women have middle names of Marie? Seems like half the women's accounts are like Jessica Marie, Christina Marie. Probably done so you can't find them directly by using their full name
- Similarly, the women who use every married/maiden/middle name they have/had in their lives: Mary Marie Smith Pujanski Miller

This disgusts me, actually. That and dog profiles.

I only know of two people who did the dog profile, and neither of them overpopulate my feed so I'm not bothered by it. Now that I think of it, I think the one hasn't posted in awhile, so it might even be down to one.

I knew of one person that created a page for their son who was maybe 2-3 years old and was posting pics multiple times throughout the week. It was kinda weird that they did it as a liked page and not as a profile, but maybe that had to do with the birthday. Great, you posted 50 different pics of Little Johnny in the living room, but 90% of those pics looks identical. I unliked the page after maybe a week or so. I guess they noticed that I unliked it a few weeks later when they sent me another invite to the page. I accepted and then muted the page. That's cool that you want to share parts of your life with your friends, but not all of us need multiple updates throughout the week.

Now, she's married an uber christian...not a Freddy style uber christian, though, imagine PFIDC at his worst (sorry bro, but you were pretty out there at one point). Said husband is a chiropractor, and not just a "hey, come on in and we'll fix your sh*t" chiropractor, he's one of those, "why choose modern medicine when I can just align your spine and fix all illness?" chiropractors. They have a child with down syndrome. And to top it all off, they're anti-vaxxers. Her posts and comments and likes are just a stream of:
