well, get over it. the snow will be gone sooner than later. the ground is warm and it is supposed to be in the 40s the rest of the week
SO DEAL WITH IT

disappointed that a KTK post referencing temps in the 40s did not get the stringer bell treatment

NWS making a pretty bold prediction, by their cautious standards. There are a ton of factors that make these two storms so hard to predict...March sun angle, time of day the snow falls, ptype issues (how much falls as sleet, freezing rain, rain?), etc. This is one of those storms that is a perfect example of how difficult it is to be a forecaster.
On a side note, if you think the comments on political articles are bad, look at the comments/tweet replies on forecaster/meteorologist tweets. They are the worst of the worst. "HOW MUCH FER CRESSON? THE GUY ON CHANNEL 8 SAID 6" BUT THIS STORM LOOKS LIKE IT'S MORE WEST"

Great. I was hoping it would hold off until I went home.

Looking at the radar it's a pretty tight swath, looks like the North Hills is still doing that rain/sleet thing. Either way my commute will be boned, though.

Took a walk around the block downtown and it's falling hard but instantly melting away. Looking out my window now I'd be surprised if this doesn't turn to rain soon, if not already, as it's falling fast.

About an inch on the grass but nothing on the roads or driveways here in Lancaster.

Wait until tomorrow...
Yup. Accumulation on pavement not expected today, although it's going to get nasty with the combination of sleet/freezing rain/snow.
12Z Euro run just came in, expands the precip field N and W:
Most of this is with Round 2 tomorrow. NWS Pittsburgh has a new map up as of an hour or so ago.
