The more I think about it, I think the Herbert disrespect is too real. When looking at the totality of their careers, only Mahomes (of our considered top 5 throughout this conversation) has a clear cut tier above Herbert. Everyone else, (Burrow vs Herbert) (Allen vs Herbert) is much, much closer. With playoff success, Burrow definitely has an edge, but I would not put him with Mahomes and pretend he is thatttt much higher than Herbert.

In my reckoning, I do think there's a very clear jump from 1 (Mahomes) to 2 (Burrow), as much as there's a clear jump from 2 to 3 (Herbert). I think from 4 to maybe 8 the distinctions are much less clear cut, and more prone to change as next season progresses.

I know you all love some Jackson Mahomes gossip, so...
The victim of his assault has had to close her restaurant. She claims they were subject to death threats and vandalism including cutting her A/C and pulling a fire alarm soaking the inside of the establishment. She decided not to call the cops because she has no faith in the system. She claims that investigators have been digging into her personal life as well. Who the hell cares enough about him to do any of that should have their head examined.

The flip side, since he was there with friends he won a court proceeding allowing him to talk to his friends, the judge had previously been afraid he'd influence their testimony. The victim's step-daughter however was the one friend the judge continues to forbid communication with. It also appears the restaurant hadn't paid it's quarterly sales tax dating back to before the New Year.

I'm still of the opinion that he's an entitled poop stain and that she's saw this as an opportunity to shake down the family for money because her restaurant was going under.
