COVID-19
Idk where to put this so I guess here works.
I'm going to a show at Starlake and it's a vaccination requirement. Is this still in effect and does anyone know how they enforce it? I want to make sure my whole group is aware what they need.
Edit I should have just checked live Nation first. Based on local guidelines this is no longer required.

How do they do this, generally, where you guys live? We had a web portal (county-administered, state-funded) that was established where you could have your vax records uploaded digitally and have them linked to a QR code that was unique to you. The protocol was supposed to be either to present the physical card or the 'official' digital record to gain entry to [venue]. In practice most people (incl Mrs Tif) would just either take a photo of their card or screen cap the digital record and save it to their phone. Despite only ever using the 'official' version of my record, I was only ever asked to have my QR scanned once. (And as I type this I can't remember the venue/occasion)

I have my vax stuff saved on my phone through and app with google or UPMC I think. It brings up a QR code that can be scanned with dates etc. No one has asked for it recently though. When I went to Jinjer back in November it was before I had the qr code and took my actual vax card with me to show proof.

I went to one single event that was vaccination required and we had to actually show our card stock at the door...

I was caught off guard when I went to the doctors a few weeks ago. I hadn't really been in a hospital or doctors office since my mom died a few months ago and forgot a mask. I don't keep any in my care anymore at this point.
They had some inside of course when I went in, but I still felt silly for a few moments.

We literally showed up to my wife's induction without masks and didn't realize until we parked the car. Found 2 buried deep in the center console

Good news for the "masks will become part of everyday life" prediction

Just flew to Canada, no test necessary either way. Proof of vaccination and check a box that says you're not coughing up fever and it's fine...wait, is that a thing still? I’m flying to Europe and they don’t care about a testSo........... about that pre-flight COVID testing.

CDC aren't super clear on anything... it's really up to you at this point.Am I free to leave isolation after 5 days so long as my symptoms have improved and no fever? Is there a need to test negative first?
I isolated until I tested negative via antigen test (took ~13 days). That was back in the late winter/early spring where there were still so many quarantine things for my kid and my wife at daycare and her work, so their quarantine would have gone extra had I been around them while I was still testing positive.
Most likely if your symptoms have cleared up, not fever, and you're feeling better, you're not going to pass it on to anyone, especially if you mask. But like I said somewhere else on this site (can't recall the context), people want absolute answers in a probabilistic world. Do what's right for you (provided you still follow CDC guidelines for a cover your ass kind of thing).
