Who wears Newbalance? What age do you need to be before people stop looking at you funny for wearing white on white newbalances?
I have EEEE-width feet. New Balance is literally the only brand of athletic shoes that I've been able to find that I know will fit my feet. Ditto Florsheim when it comes to dress shoes.

Don't wear white ones, though. My go-to is the MK 706V2 "Postal" shoe in black.

I bought some last weekend. Not white, of course. I have wide feet and New Balance run wider than most brands.

I wear NB because I have chronic (terminal?) plantar fasciitis. Have three or four pair.

None are white though.

I hear NB sneakers are quite comfortable. No shame in wearing plane Janes, IMO.

I have size 16 double E feet and can still find does. It's limited but I find em. I sympathize.

Mrs Tif had someone from her fleet company out to put the donut wheel on, which he did relatively quickly, but she spent close to an hour on the phone on Friday scheduling the tire replacement. Car dealership said they did not have a tire in stock, and it would take a couple days to have one transferred from another Bay Area shop, so she made an appointment for today to have the replacement mounted. She got to the dealership, and they thought she was there for a routine maintenance appointment because no one ordered the tire. So it's going to be another 1-3 days of no driving.
Our car is in the shop after our deer incident a couple weeks ago. Father-in-law loaned us his car. I am now sporting white socks and crocs in this jalopy:

I learned about New Balance being wide thanks to A Tribe Called Quest (RIP Phife)
I sport New Balance sneakers to avoid a narrow path

After many years of driving cheaper, used cars (both of our 2007 Civics have about 150k miles on them), my wife and I are finally both planning on buying new cars this year. It's one of those things that we just never made a priority before, but after driving some nice rentals, we both have the itch.

My wife really likes the Mazda CX5...I told her to just splurge for the Grand Touring edition since she'll be driving it for a long time. I'm not sure what I want...at first I wanted a Honda Odyssey, but I'm not sure if we will have a second child, and if we don't I'd prefer to drive something a little more fun. I did like the CX5 a lot, but don't want to get the same car as her either

I don't get it. Is the person, in the parking lot with a ton of spaces, in the orange car parking too close to the line teaching the person in the dark car a lesson because she parked on the line?

What a hero. *yawn*

Our Odyssey is the best car we've ever owned. Can fit a ton of stuff/people, very reliable, decent mileage, and is one of the safest cars on the road. NHTSA had a ridiculous stat a few years ago where the Odyssey had an infinitesimal number of deaths while driving it - basically, .000001 person(s) had died in a five year span of Odysseys. I can't recommend it enough, especially with younger children.

We go with the large sedan and minivan/suv garage. My wife has a '17 Accord that we can all fit in comfortably for short trips, and the '08 Odyssey for longer trips. If you go with a CX5, you may not need an Odyssey...or you might go CX9 with a Camry/Accord/Maxima whatever.

I always enjoy spending other people's money.

Well, when SUVs can seat more than two people, people will start catching on.

It's so cliche but when I was in the military there was a woman that worked in our S1, she was about 4ft7in and had one kid. She basically had to rappel out of her Navigator in the morning to get to duty.

That's not much different than a buddy of mine who has a wife and no kids, and also owns an Expedition.

Which is worse? Having more vehicles than drivers or more seats than people? Choose wisely.
