@NTP66 i believe it was you that said you planned to ask your daughter’s teacher whether she was vaccinated or not. Our district did a survey and 90% of teachers said they are willing to share that info. I would think we are more in a “red” area so that should give you some hope.

Even in red districts, the teachers are still indoctrinating your kids with liberal bullsh*t like “vaccines” and “science”.

Yep, planning on asking in 10 minutes when the board meeting starts. We did get an updated email stating that all staff and students are required to wear masks, so that’s good to hear.

And I believe this is why despite returning to indoor masking we are not returning to things like lockdowns. It really is a pandemic of the stupid at the stage.

I would also suggest the number of breakthrough infections is actually greater than the numbers suggest. Because people who are inoculated are not likely to have symptomatic infection, and so the only asymptomatic people who are getting tested and know definitively they're COVID+ are those who have to get tested regularly as part of the condition of employment.

I agree that there are probably more undetected breakthrough infections out there. A recent study shows that 74% reported breakthrough cases (i.e., those ones that are most symptomatic) were among seniors age 65 or older, who we already know have lower immune responses to the vaccines. More than 99.99% of individuals in the United States who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have not had a breakthrough case resulting in hospitalization or death.

had an appointment with my therapist today and they’re now requiring masks to get in the building. Of course once in the office she and I were like “you’re vaccinated right? yeah it’s fine if you want to take it off”

mini meow’s school board approved their reopening plan just now. Masks are optional for students, staff and visitors. Five days a week in person
