That's great. Man, quite a run Jack had there in the 70s.

Evil dies tonight. I could probably lay this movie out beat for beat right now and be pretty damn close. And I don't even care. Give it to me.

When they announced the winner for Best Actor the year Jack was up for "Chinatown", he lost to [insert worthy opponent's name]. Someone (I think from the crew of "Chinatown") seated in front of him turned around and said, "Tough luck, Jack". And Nicholson apparently replied, "Aw, it's alright. I'll get it next year for Cuckoo."

I don't think tif is a Rick and Morty guy, but I think he would enjoy S6E2. If only for The Nakatomi Paradigm, et al.

As long as they watch House of the Dragon to see how to best use that tech and not, say, any Star Wars series.

I was wrong, @tifosi77, it's still just as creepy if the actor signs off on it.

can…can a person with dementia sell their rights like that? would that hold up in court?

As far as I know, he doesn't have dimentia. He has aphasia, which is a disorder that inhibits language. He's still smaht and can figure things out like Fredo.

hm I found this
so..maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Bruce Willis has stepped away from acting after a diagnosis of aphasia — a form of cognitive impairment sometimes caused by frontotemporal dementia.
Aphasia can be caused by damage to the brain through stroke or a number of other conditions. It affects a person’s ability to speak, write, or form words. Or, it may lead to an introduction pauses into their speech. Eventually, aphasia progresses to affect a person’s memory and other cognitive functions.
Two variants of progressive form of aphasia called Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA) can be caused by frontotemporal dementia, which affects an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 people in the United States. Meanwhile, another variant of PPA — the logopenic variant — is often caused by underlying Alzheimer’s.

I just randomly had the scene from E3 where Jerry and Beths are in the bedroom and the weird. “I approve of that” conversation happens. Just the matter of a fact “I also approve that etc.” so good.I don't think tif is a Rick and Morty guy, but I think he would enjoy S6E2. If only for The Nakatomi Paradigm, et al.

Here's a wild suggestion: Don't go see it. If they stop making a billion dollars, studios will stop making them.

Invisible Stripes
Racket Busters
You Can’t Get Away with Murder
King of the Underworld
The Petrified Forest
San Quentin

A bit surprised they didn’t tack Key Largo (my favorite Bogart film), Caine Mutiny, Maltese and/or Casablanca on to the end but - I’ve seen those a dozen times. A lot of these I haven’t seen.

Watched the 4k remastered director's cut of Robocop last night. What a film! Man does that movie go all in, but I usually have moments where I can't stop laughing at how Weller walks around in that suit. Must have been hilarious watching on set. Probably deserves an academy award for that. Can't wait to see him in Panos Cosmatos The Viewing flick coming out on Netflix soon

saw Bullet Train last night. It tried its hardest to be a Guy Ritchie/Tarantino movie and was entertaining enough but also fell flat at some points
It was fine but I was ultimately a little disappointed
