Maybe the next time he decides to buy a company, he shouldn’t read “The Art of the Deal” beforehand. This Canaan has done nothing but complain about Twitter’s financials, even though he should have known all of this as part of his own due diligence before purchasing them.

Read that, too, and you’re absolutely right. He also brought in Space-X coders to review Twitter code, which is laughable given that “coders” isn’t universal. He deserves to lose as much money as possible.

When I interviewed at SpaceX the GC said they didn't have any contract management systems in place. He got all defensive when I said I had helped design and build stuff like that in the past, he was like "We have he best software engineers in the world." And I was like "That doesn't seem to be of much help to you if you're bringing up business system shortages to paralegal candidates..."

I did not get the job. But every SpaceX contract - from t-shirt licenses to DoD security certs to launch agreements - was performance tracked in a spreadsheet. I'm still a SpaceX fan, but that's intensely stupid.

A programmer writes a program to handle generic cases vs the the guy who writes custom code for every scenario.
