Pitt got a commitment from Last Chance U DT Kam Carter. Was at UPS for his freshman season before getting booted from the team. He's 6'5, 310 lbs., put up 36 tackles and 2 sacks in 12 games at EMCC this past season, and has three seasons of eligibility left. I expect him to make an impact this season.

Chris Dokish said he's already penciled in as the starter from day one.

IIRC, he was dismissed from the team after some very disappointing character issues and violating team rules several times. Narduzzi doesn't seem too concerned though.

Maybe we can get a good boy like Jesse James who single-handedly costs his team an appearance in a Super Bowl by demonstrating a lack of character and sacrifice.

Should be interesting to see how the DLine shakes out. There is a lot of bodies, but those bodies are a mix of experienced (but not that talented) and inexperienced (with a lot of talent).

If the super panthers can get through the UVA-UNC-VATech-Miami stretch at 3-1, the future will indeed be bright.

Hard to see them beating the Pokes, even if that game is at home

More realistically, I think a successful season is 9 regular season wins with the closing gauntlet of UNC @ home, @VaTech, Miami @ home being the deciding games in the divisional race. If Browne can deliver Peterman 2016 results, this team should get to 9 or more regular season wins.

Decent chance that game @ Crappy Valley has us both ranked.

A 10-0 start to the season? They could lose the last two by 100 and I wouldn't complain.

I think that weekend are the WPIAL playoff games on Saturday. And they traditoinally have played that game on Fri since entering ACC IIRC.

10-2 really isn't a stretch. If we beat one of UPS and OK State, the next 6 really should be wins. GT always scares me a little but I think Duzz knows how to limit the option
