“It’s never been another connection.” You mean that one game you played on a different team before they released you due to rape allegations wasn’t that great?

I really need that AB circle image, with the "You are here" arrow. We have reached the apology stage... Again.

"He called me the N-word," Garrett told Outside The Lines' Mina Kimes during an interview that debuted Thursday night on SportsCenter. "He called me a 'stupid N-word.'"

I noticed that Garrett even broke out the Malcolm X glasses for this interview. Really going all out, isn't he?

I don't understand how there isn't proof on this one way or another? There are a bunch of mics at the field level, dozens of camera angles, 22 players on the field, and seven officials. There has to be something.

Yeah, I have to imagine that the NFL has the audio of this, but for obvious reasons isn't going to release it.

What's the obvious reason? Either Rudolph is lying or Garrett is lying. Let's find out who we should hate.

You can't prove a negative. Even if you can hear Rudolph blink on a long range mic, it'll still be assumed somehow that the mic just didn't pic up the slur.

It's important to recognize the NFL is not claiming there's no audio. They're claiming there's no audio that supports Garrett's claim.

This was a Thursday Night game, national telecast. Both QBs and at least one offensive lineman on each team are mic'd up for these contests.

So the NFL should release everything they have. All the secrecy does it give power to conspiracy theories

Immediately after the game and the day after the game Garrett issues remorseful public apologizes to Rudolph. Once he gets called into the principal’s office he starts whining about racial slurs. He’s full of ****.

The NFL has no incentive to release any audio. If they have Mason on audio saying racist ****, he’d have been suspended already. If they release audio of nothing happening, the NFLPA has a fit. Best to just let it go and people will forget like they always do.

so there were what, probably 17 black players on the field at the time some white backup qb allegedly said this and only Garrett heard it?

I dont know if Rudolph’s Steeler teammates would have curb stomped him out on the a the field if he had said the n word but they damn sure would not have let it go.

Pretty sure even the dumbest racist in the NFL isn’t stupid enough to say that while on the field.

My guess is one of the black players said it and the NFL would rather not deal with any of it than address that hypocrisy.

Maurkice Pouncey would've fed Rudolph his own liver if he had said that.

Maybe Garrett called Rudolph the n-word in the heat of the moment...classic whoever smelt it, dealt it scenario...
