The GDPR and I think CCPA regard license plates as 'sensitive'. Not actual PII, but sort of PII-adjacent. For example, if you see Kylie Jenner getting out of an orange Lambo Aventador on their show and you can see the license plate number, you will know the next time you see it out and about it's Kylie Jenner's car without having to follow it around to a parking lot. That's generally not available to people simply by Googling the plate number (the part that's 'public'). So for the time being we'll still blur license plates and house numbers and such on reality TV.

I dunno if this might be a "fat guy" thing, but pants that don't have enough belt loops. I have several pairs of jeans that I otherwise like, but they only have a total of five belt loops: two in the front, two on the sides, and only a single loop in back. The waist can actually pull down in between the loops, which are way too widely spaced. Contrast that to the Haggar dress pants I wear to work that have 10 belt loops: four in the front, two on either side, two in back. No such problems with those.

My Marine Corps uniform bottoms had 7 belt loops. The lore was that each belt loop represented one of the Seven Seas. When I heard that I realized that most of the stuff they're teaching us is probably similar reverse-engineered superstition/propaganda. Sometimes a belt loop is just a belt loop.

I buy Nautica jeans and pay about $45 a pair for them on Amazon. Good enough.

I just donated a few pairs because I never wear them. I prefer to wear golf pants, the acrylic type. They're golf pants so they're cut like dress pants but made from a lightweight breathable material. Very comfortable.

I was surprised at "several pairs of jeans." Having enough jeans to notice a difference in belt loops seems wild to me. I own two pairs of jeans. Gray, and black. And I wear them until they split at the crouch. Then I replace them with the exact same make and model.

Let's be real though meow, Amazon jeans are probably standard Nautica/Levi jeans but shipped directly from Amazon to cut costs.

This is me. I have a darker blue and a lighter blue pair. I think I only wear them to work on Fridays or if I'm meeting friends at a place where joggers won't fly.

Kind of Dark Blue, Darker blue, and Grey. All Levi's 541's. That is all I have jean wise, and I don't wear jeans anywhere unless I have to. Joggers or Shorts 99% of the time.

Source of the post Then I replace them with the exact same make and model.
Once I find stuff I like, I buy multiples in case they discontinue them, which has happened to me numerous times now. Wish I did that for my last pair of sneakers, because Adidas went to the circus after they were released.

I did that with my running shorts. I bought one pair and went back the next day and bought 7 more

I find these more comfortable than jeans.

The crz yoga golf pants on Amazon are nice. I have a pair of brown and a pair of dark grey. Might need to snag a couple of other colors too.

I’ve gotten the Amazon ones and also ones from the online J Crew outlet, which they have sales on pretty frequently.

It's there mostly for grip and sweat absorption. My golf shorts have a similar band.

I don't think so. The material is stretchy by design but there isn't relief built into the band that I know of.

I’m out at the cargo pocket (even if it’s not very visible).

I also don’t think I’ve ever worn a pair of black jeans.
