I've been looking into a lot of stuff like that...where I go, "oh, that looks like a really young version of that person..."

Jeff Goldblum's first is in Deathwish (and it's quite a way to start haha)
Kevin Bacon is in Animal House

There's a bunch of good ones that of course I can't recall off hand because I rarely write down stuff about movies that I watch...

I don't know if it was his first but Keanu in Youngblood always amused me.

He still went by "Nicolas Coppola" on Fast Times, and the unwanted attention the name brought is what prompted him to change his name to Cage. I saw an interview with Amy Heckerling who said he wasn't annoyed by people calling him a nepo baby, he was fed up with fellow actors constantly asking him if he could get them in Uncle Francis' next movie.

Ronald Reagan's first Treasury Secretary was named "Donald Regan".

I assume it was just Ronnie wearing a mustache and you never saw them in the same room.

It worked. I never associate him with the Coppola family despite knowing that he's a member of the Coppola family. Same goes for Angelina Jolie and Voight. Not so much with Emilio Estevez for some reason.

Weird Al's parents were both killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in a tragic accident where they forgot to open the fireplace damper.

In a similar morbid vein, even though Phil Hartman was killed by his wife in a murder/suicide, they still have a headstone together in her hometown in Minnesota (they were both cremated and their ashes were scattered elsewhere).

TIL that the Japanese have a word that means "old person smell": kareishū (加齢臭). The kanji translate as something along the lines of "aging smelly."

Not if you're driving it. 7.5 hours to Memphis, 9.5 to Windsor or Niagara.

That's what I figured when mapping things. Although I'm kind of shocked its 7.5 hours to Memphis.

Friends and I drove to Nashville a few years ago and I was amazed at how far over it was and even that is in the middle of the state. I guess I’m so used to north-south driving on 95 that I don’t expect to spend more than 5 hours driving through any particular state
