I don't want her getting banned there if she wants to stay there. I wouldn't put it past Dagny to read PMs.
From my limited experience using the admin panel, I don't think there is a way you can read other people's private messages.
Dagny has even told me there is no way to see the PMs. I wouldn't worry about that lli
We somewhat jokingly accused her of cheating in a warz game by reading PM's. She said she couldn't see them.

Just so you know, Lt. Dish was a female character in the hit movie and tv show MASH.

I've run a few php boards in the past and I don't remember having any ability to read other peoples' PMs... at least not directly. Maybe there is a way to get at the data through the database directly or there may be plugins, but I certainly don't remember it being a standard feature.

Likely through the database, but that's such a hassle.

Yeah, I just don't see RJ sitting around in his spare time trying to figure out how to query PMs in the database... and the mods likely wouldn't have access to that.

Avatars can be turned off by individual users in the profile settings. Taking it away from everyone because you irrationally don't understand how they work is dagnyesque.

The bandwidth though. It'll be slow even if there are people who have the setting turned off.

I don't think having avatars is a huge deal.

Posting crickets and saying "shhhh" looks suspicious. It's too early to give it away.
RJ is well aware of this site at this point. No need to be subtle.

Yeah, and no reason to **** on RJ or LGP, I personally spent a lot of time there (obviously, lol) and enjoyed it quite a bit. It doesn't have to be a zero-sum war by any stretch here, just an alternative. So everyone can be happy regardless of where they go.
