Oh man, we were supposed to double date to a Royals game but it got rained out. So we went and saw IoDM instead.
It was so bad we couldn't even make out during it.

I mean, there are worse things than getting **** blocked by 90s Fairuza Balk.

Although, I guess that's not really the vector the block came in from.

Just saw the new trailer for El Camino. I'm very much excited to watch it. I've wondered for a while now "What happens to Jesse?". Glad to have some answers.

we basically got mini me from it because Brando gave the worlds smallest man all of the other leads part. glorious.

I've never seen a minute of this movie, but from the first few seconds of this clip I was getting a strong Nothing but Trouble vibe. Which is a great film in its own right.

Yeah, but Nothing But Trouble was intended to be that way, so it's satirical. Dr Moreau was meant to be super serial, so it's farcical.

Is that Walt at the end? "you ready?"

If so I wonder if it's just a mental demon Jesse is struggling with

Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are returning to the world of the dinosaurs in the upcoming “Jurassic World 3.”

The trio, who all appeared in the original “Jurassic Park” in 1993, will reprise their roles in the third chapter in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s “Jurassic World” franchise. Dern will play Dr. Ellie Sattler, Neill will portray Dr. Alan Grant and Goldblum will return as the wisecracking Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Colin Trevorrow is returning to direct with Chris Pratt returning as dinosaur handler Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as dinosaur rights activist Claire Dearing. The castings of Dern, Goldblum and Neill were announced Tuesday night at a special Arclight Hollywood screening of “Jurassic World” when Trevorrow brought out Dern during the Q&A portion.

That's awesome, but wasn't the last 2 set way in the future when they were dead?

It was set something like 20 years in the future, so they should all be alive and kicking. Given that Jurassic Park was set in 1993, this lines up nicely.

And I'm guessing from that short posted last week, we will finally have a movie where the dinosaurs have been established already on mainland with civilians

That would be optimal. Less screen time for Bryce would be great, too.

Watched Yesterday with family last night. I liked it a lot. I didn't think it got quite to where it wanted to, but I always enjoy a good Richard Curtis movie where I don't have to over analyze everything and just enjoy the movie.

"Dinosaur Rights Activist"
Honestly that was my favorite bit of the story. Of course there would be dinosaur activists in a world where dinosaurs were bred specifically to live in a zoo. That person will DEFINITELY get eaten.

I thought she was fine in JW. I can't remember if she's even in JW2? I know Dr Malcom was in JW2 and it was obvious they had no idea what to do with him in that, hopefully that gets better for the next one.

JW2 was garbage all around and it wasn't her fault.

I actually liked a lot of the haunted mansion stuff, but the sums were much better than the whole
