Outside of being convenient, their food has gradually gone downhill over the years. Their gas is still pretty cheap, but that’s about it.

There's no excuse for that but the one down the street from me is always clean. They also have the non-ethanol gasoline available.

First time. Snowboarding with some buddies.
My wife and I spent a week at Snowbird during the summer and loved it. Are you there, Alta, or somewhere else?

Pizza Hut just introduced Detroit-Style pizza — here's what it looks like
I wonder if it comes with an illegal firearm.

Folks, I had a Chick Fil-a Spicy Grilled sandwich last week. Very good, highly recommended. Unless you still eat fried foods, then get the regular fried one.

i was watching a CFA commercial yesterday and wondered to myself:

CFA is consistently the busiest drive thru in the western PA fast food kingdom and also by far the most efficient drive thru/curbside pickup. We have been dealing with this stupid pandemic for 11 months now and somehow none of the other fast food players have bothered to implement anywhere near the system that CFA has. Are they all just lazy or stupid or indifferent? I don't know. But I find it ridiculous.

Someone posted a story here a few weeks ago about a CFA manager working with his local COVID testing super site to get their line in order. Cut wait times from an hour down to like 15 minutes.

Yeah, I never cease to be impressed with the quality of that organization.

Yeah, it me! It was the Chick Fil-a near my parents' house near Charleston. Cut the wait down to 15 minutes from over an hour.

I am guessing that it's a multitude of things.
CFA seem to have good managers
CFA seems to pay their employees well
CFA seems to have an incredible training and development program
CFA is a little bit more expensive than all these other places
CFA has more demand (maybe?)

You could build a CFA next door to my local CFA and easily double the business between the two.

CFA seems to pay their employees well
the big thing they do here is basically pay for their teenage employees to go to college. not sure how it works now but back in the 90s if you worked at a CFA in the northern half of Georgia you could go to Berry College basically for free. they even had their own dorms and dining halls. the rest of the students referred to them as "The Chicken People"
I think my brother was pretty upset when my niece quit CFA after a few months.

Had Sonic for the first time in a long while today. It was good (well, at least as good as Sonic can be), but my body seems to be rejecting it. :scared:
