They've apparently reached a settlement agreement with Weinstein where he does not have admit any wrongdoing and he is not personally on the hook for monetary damages. That is not good imo.

If the economic indicators still keep coming in like this next year it will be hard for Democrats to run on a "I'm going to make the economy work for you" message.

The lack of inventory, along with low mortgage rates, have driven up prices and limited growth in the home ownership rate among Americans.
Homebuilder sentiment at a high = Home builders think its a good time to build more homes.
Millennials still under a mountain of debt aren't buying houses.
Posters Note: What's interesting is that the article doesn't make a case that as boomers start to head towards retirement living and millenials are priced out of ownership (along with their fewer numbers) we should see a decrease in home ownership.

It doesn't matter what anyone's sentiment is, our economy is a house of borrowed cards that will collapse under the weight of it's unsustainability.

One of the organizations I support is called VETPAW - Veterans Empowered To Protect African Wildlife. They train park rangers in Africa to operate more like Army Rangers, and I've noted before that their Insta feed looks like a real-life Ghost Recon movie. I would very much approve of letting them loose on poachers.

The only thing that the Senate is obligated to do (by rule, not by Constitutional provision) is hear the case put on by the House managers. They can prolong that indefinitely, keeping half the Democratic presidential candidates tied up in Washington and not campaigning (Senators are obligated to be in chamber during an impeachment proceeding); but that would probably only strengthen Biden's prospects, as his only real opponent in the field would be Mayor Pete. Their other option is to hear the case presented by the House managers, and then immediately vote to dismiss the case, which only requires a 51-vote majority.

First off: anyone that's up in arms over McConnell and Graham saying they've got their mind made up and are going to be the voice of the White House are morons. The two of them are just saying out loud what everyone already knows.

Secondly: were the shoe on the other foot... hoooooooooooooo buddy. The GOP would also be losing their damn minds over it, so this is all pretty much just partisan non-sense as usual.

Who is up in arms over that? Random twitter users? I saw Nadler comment on it yesterday on ABC but he was hardly "up in arms."

Random twitter users... also the fact that it's the headline across many news sites and they reported on it on NPR this morning.

If it hits people I don't like, actual reporting standards aren't all that important.

Faux News proves that.

Spoilered for guy in SF taking dump in Safeway.
I said it before, I'll say it again. Reopen the mental institutions (with DOH oversight, of course). It's insane to let the homeless/addicted take over your city like this.
