When the George Floyd (and others) protests happened, the creators and actors made a point to say they weren't sure how to move forward with the show. The path they took is neither funny nor poignant (though to be honest who wants poignancy from B99?) It has weighed down the show so much so that it would've been much better had they just completely ignored it. That's just one of the reasons why this season has been a struggle to watch.

Idk, I'm about 4-5 episodes in and am still laughing as much as I usually am. Always nice to see John C. McGinley.

Up to Episode 5 of Billions so far. Nothing wrong with it, but does it go anywhere?

I watched 4 seasons of Billions I think. It just got boring for me. So I didn’t renew showtime.

Sudekis previously said a fourth season would require Ted getting a coaching job down the street from his kids school. Wonder how much money it would take for him to agree to another season or two in England.

I mean, there’s a show on Disney+ with a space bounty hunter traveling to a different planet every week with his small alien companion. We can’t get a London set on a backlot somewhere for the dude? Hell put him in the Volume and build the set digitally around him.Dickie Dunn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 16, 2021 10:05 pmSudekis previously said a fourth season would require Ted getting a coaching job down the street from his kids school. We are winding down watching The Americans. Seasons 1-4 were really good stuff. Season 5 just kind of seemed there...hoping Season 6 wraps things up nicely.

It’s better than season 5, at least.skullman80 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 8:18 am We are winding down watching The Americans. Seasons 1-4 were really good stuff. Season 5 just kind of seemed there...hoping Season 6 wraps things up nicely.

Tried watching this pen15 series on Hulu and while I like what they are going for, I'm having a really hard time getting past how annoying the two main girls are. That's just after one episode.

Well…it peaks at episode 1 so you’re in for some disappointment.
I actually liked season 1. It was pretty cutting and poignant at times, even. But season 2 went off the rails immediately.

The episode of Ted Lasso that follows the Christmas special (which was great) might be my favorite episode ever from a sitcom series.

The B99 finale was well done. It was time and that was a satisfying ending.

This week’s Ted Lasso was the first real swing and a miss of the series.

It was the second of the two extra episodes Apple ordered, so the script was taken from the discard pile. Enjoyed the Jeff Tweedy version of the theme song though.
