If this situation was reversed and the Steelers had a positive case, no one here would be calling for a forfeit. This is just a shitty situation (but not unexpected) in a shitty year.

I think I've been pretty consistent all year about how I feel about sports and protocols.

If they proceed as indicated we'll get to see next week how we all feel about the Steelers having positives.

Considering TEN had an additional positive test today, shouldn't that effectively push the postponement out another day?

I mean, I don't think one day makes a difference either way. But if that's their methodology here, I'm not sure why there wouldn't be one more day added to the delay.

Yeah. MLB was able to get theirs under control. Of course, the Raiders players going to an indoor charity event, not wearing masks, then practicing the next day doesn't bode too well for the NFL.

Yeah. MLB was able to get theirs under control. Of course, the Raiders players going to an indoor charity event, not wearing masks, then practicing the next day doesn't bode too well for the NFL.

I'm speaking more to the fact that both went out of its way to add to rosters with the expectation that players will inevitably get infected. MLB teams had cases and instead of using the taxi squads they just rescheduled games. Seems like the NFL is going the same route.

I'm not a big fan of the healthy team being punished. I know it's a health issue right now, but forcing us to have a week 4 bye, because another team got infected really blows. It allows the other team to get healthy, and forces Steelers to play longer without a break (unless they get two byes).

Easy fix.

Steelers and Ravens play week 7 and both have a bye on week 8. Titans have a schedule bye during week 7.

Steelers vs titans week 7 with ravens bye.
Steelers vs ravens week 8.
Count week 4 as bye week for steelers and titans.
