Spent last 5 days digging out, edging, and fixing up the soil around the house. Planted and mulched today. Looks great, amazing what you can get done with a little free time. Put in a couple bloomerang lilac bushes around back deck.

I have jalapeños, habaneros, poblanos, a cayenne, a Hungarian hot, Thai chiles, super chiles.

I pickle and/or eat the jalapeños and poblanos. The hungarians are great hot banana peppers for stuffing or slicing. The rest get dried and ground and used as spices.

I did Ghost Peppers once and got about 50 peppers from one plant and threw about 49 away. Too hot to do anything with.
Missed this when you posted.

I've only ever grown habaneros and serranos, but I love having a chile garden. Looking to add some cayennes or other red chile for variety.

I have a big garden in the yard and a few large planters and 5 gallon containers on the deck. I like to put the cool lookin stuff up on the deck. This year I have pear tomatoes and black krim tomatoes in one planter, and thai chiles, cayenne, and super chiles in the other. Then 2 habanero buckets and 2 jalapeno buckets. And a fig tree in a planter as well (might be dead).

Cayennes just look so cool and they last on the vine forever. I grind into powder and put a dash of it in almost every seasoning.

Well, our dog that lived in the wild went back to his roots this morning. He found a bunny nest. Killed two of them. There’s still a few in the nest. We’ll keep him and our other oblivious to the world dog away from the nest and mow around it.

Assuming the bunnies were just born, how long until they start leaving the nest for greener pastures? A month?

Any recommendations for a narrow flowering tree? We have a spot about three foot radius next to our house. We have been looking at weeping cherries, weeping redbuds, etc curious if anyone has some recommendations. Obviously would need to keep whatever it is pruned very tightly

Purple plunge in place. Grows 10’ by 4’. This is exactly what we were looking for. Love when a plan comes together. There used to be 7 gold mop cypress which were a mess in this space

My garden is swamped with spotted lanternfly nymphs. My neighbor already has one and couches for it, so I just bought a Bug-a-Salt 3.0 and a **** of table salt, so let the massacre begin (in a few days).
