Messaging is not good there imo. I'd say we lived up to it at Normandy, Gettysburg, during the Apollo missions, etc.
I’d rather have a president acknowledge problems that still need solving and work toward fixing them than one that just goes on and on about how great we are and ignores problems that don’t have an impact on himself.

First question of the night was the example here. The question was pretty much: what’s your plan for the pandemic moving forward?

Trump: we’ve done awesome. We’re great.
Biden: we haven’t been great. we’ve got some work to do. Here’s the plan...

Serious question: is what he proposes a bad thing? The process has become a partisan joke at this point, with pointless hearings. And yes, I’d say the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot in terms of how the court is stacked up. I just wouldn’t be as worried about it because it would be more slanted my way. But I think looking at how we do this is a good idea.
Congress is supposed to be that arbitor. Maybe they shouldn't be **** ING infants. Maybe the process should be that questions have to go through an independent review. No speeches, just questions. If someone just starts doing a speech their speaking privileges are revoked.

But they are infants. So this would be a possible way to deal with it as well.
