Sam Rockwell is an American treasure.
Have you seen Moon? One of his best.
Fantastic. He's so good in that.

The original gave me nightmares. This looks a bit too CGI-heavy. Give me slimy puppets over this.

What the **** is happening in this world? Why would anybody attack Rick Moranis?

I don’t think Parenthood gets enough credit. As a parent of grown children, I can relate to so much in it.

The Other Guys was pretty hilarious.
Chemistry between those two was great.
Michael Keaton was perfect in that role.
It was surprisingly good.

I was thinking about this earlier, and the core of my childhood movies was filled wit John Candy, Rick Moranis, Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor. I feel bad for kids these days, because that era was spectacular.

Agreed on the nightmares and slimy puppets. Those things were grotesque. Interesting to see this big budget, big name remake suddenly being touted as an HBO Max Original. Guess they didn’t want to hold onto it until October 2021, but I don’t think anyone is adding HBO Max for this movie.

Lots of theater release date fallout yesterday. Bond got moved to April of next year. Fast and Furious 73 moved to Memorial Day. Soul in late November and Dune and Wonder Woman in December look like the only chances for real box office returns this year and I don’t think any of those three get released as currently scheduled.

Pretty sure Robert Zemeckis directed this with Guillermo del Toro helping out on script and production. I bet we'll get some good stuff.

The wolfman (1941) is a perfect example of a movie about how much times have changed. We couldn't stop laughing and used it as a perfect example for our daughter on what you do when you have a male predator stalking you. I love how sweet and innocent it was back then to watch a girl through a telescope and creepily don't take no as an answer as you pursue her.

Also watched phantasm and that movie is just plain weird and awesome
