Biden might be learning that Twitter is not real life.

It's not a gaffe. It's a strategy (maybe motivated partly out of pique and more instinctual than deliberate) to appeal to the sorts of Democrats who aren't very well represented on Twitter. And it might work. The crowd seemed to like it.

Mr. Barr said he sees more basis for investigating the uranium deal than any supposed collusion between Mr. Trump and Russia. “To the extent it is not pursuing these matters, the department is abdicating its responsibility,” he said.

He was under no obligation to accept the nomination. It's not like, "Well, the President nominated me, I guess I have to be AG now. Again. *pft*"

Given what we know about Trump - his views on the role of the Attorney General, his rationale for getting rid of Sessions, the nimrod he named acting AG - why do you think it was that Barr got the nod? Why do you think Barr accepted the offer?

Personally, I don't think there's necessarily anything unique to Trump at play here. Barr has some pretty loopy concepts regarding the extent of executive power in the US government.

Coroner’s office has ruled the deaths of a former-Portland family as a murder-suicide. Jennifer Hart & lesbian partner Sarah Hart drove their 6 adopted black kids off a cliff. The family gained media attention for attending BLM & Bernie Sanders events.
