It certainly was.
Not really. GOP deplorables would have supported a Nikki Haley, or even in an apocalyptic scenario a Sarah Palin.

A lot of these Obama voters that went to Trump voted for women senators in Wisconsin and Michigan.
To clarify, I don't think it decided the election. But at least some, given the choice between a male POS and a female POS, they will always pick the man.

I'm not buying that many democrats voted for Trump. The ones not voting for Hillary either voted for Stein or didn't vote at all.
I think this depends on how you want to define 'many'. I look at it as 'enough'; we're talking about a five-figure sum of people in each of four Rust Belt states that were historical Democrat voters that took a punt on the guy who asked them what they had to lose, while his opponent so took their loyalty for granted that she was a literal no-show.

Before I even clicked the link, the first thing that popped into my brain when I read your headline was "Japan". The country that brought us waifu pillows and hentai.

Many people are telling me - and this is true - that it's got electrolytes, which is what plants are craving.

There was a woman in Ireland who married a ghost. They have since divorced. So, there's that.

ok, I'll play:
Trump says he had a meeting about Iran and the Middle East with lots of good-looking generals: "Like from a movie. Better looking than Tom Cruise, and stronger."

Giuliani also argued that Trump wasn’t doing business in Moscow by contemplating building a Trump Tower there. He dismissed revelations that Trump signed an Oct. 28, 2015, letter of intent jumpstarting negotiations for the property development, as CNN reported last month. Giuliani had previously claimed no one had signed the letter.

“I knew there was a Moscow project. I still don’t know how long it went, and I don’t consider it a Moscow project. I consider it a letter of intent without any money every being put up, nonbinding, which is the earliest stage of, you know, taking a look at a project,” Giuliani said.
They've moved on to some really great explanations for Trump's connections to Russia during the campaign.

Trouble in Bernie land:

Accounts like Ms. Di Lauro’s — describing episodes of sexual harassment and demeaning treatment as well as pay disparity in Mr. Sanders’s 2016 campaign — have circulated in recent weeks in emails, online comments and private discussions among former supporters. Now, as the Vermont senator tries to build support for a second run at the White House, his perceived failure to address this issue has damaged his progressive bona fides, delegates and nearly a dozen former state and national staff members said in interviews over the last month.

And it has raised questions among them about whether he can adequately fight for the interests of women, who have increasingly defined the Democratic Party in the Trump era, if he runs again for the presidential nomination in 2020.

Some former staff members said there was little pay transparency, and employees often negotiated their own salaries — practices that tend to favor men, who often feel more comfortable requesting higher compensation packages.

I know that. And you know that. But they - *gestures at 5AF* - do not know that. I'm trying to maintain some mystique, here.
