OK, so Flash is heating up. Mark Hamill as the Trickster next episode.

Suicide Squad returns tonight on Arrow...

I'm mostly through the most recent Arrow (The Offer), but might not be current on Flash.
Real cold of Thea to have sold Merlin away like that in the prior ep.

Just finished Arrow Season 2 on Netflix.

Not it looks like I'll have to wait until September/October to get Season 3 of Arrow and Season 1 of Flash.

Ugh.

After this recent break for Arrow and The Flash, I realized I've really disliked this season of Arrow. Hope the last episodes really pick up because this season pales in comparison to the first two.

I have to agree with you, but I watched the first two seasons on Netflix in a month or so, so I wasn't sure if it was because I have to wait a week + between episodes.

I did the same and I'm also not sure if its having the same effect on me. I just remember first season Oliver being a bad ass, while this season's Oliver kinda sucks. I don't know. I just remember watching seasons one and two and being like "Wow, I can't believe this show is on The CW!" and now I watch season three and I'm like "Ehhh, this show kinda belongs on The CW."

Well, tonight's Flash will have the Trickster...played by Mark Hamill. Should be a good episode.

Flash was great last night.

Mark Hamill finally got to say "I'm your FATHER!!!"

Great show. From the teaser afterwards, looks like we'll have an extended Arrow/Flash/Atom crossover/spinoff launch.

I'm actually caught up enough to have started this weeks Flash on Wednesday, got about 10 minutes in before my kids interrupted. Was shaping up to be good.

From the ep prior:

Slowly catching up...

On episode 3 of the Flash, the Mist looks like he is played by the same bald-headed henchman from Gotham. Any crossover or just an actor with the lcuk to be a bad guy in two Superhero shows?

I don't think there was any intended connection.

Didn't seem like it, but just odd to see such a distinct person playing a bad guy.

In theory, he could've been the bad guy on Gotham...gotten caught and then executed for his crime later which would put him into Flash.

That's the only reason I asked.

Is anyone still watching Arrow? I caught up on the last couple episodes last night, and boy, this season makes no sense at all. It really feels more like a non-sensical, teen/20-something soap opera at this point that just happens to have superheroes in it (i.e. what one would expect of a CW comic book show).

We caught up last night and I agree. I am enjoying the show but it's not what it used to be. Thank God for Daredevil. Flash is still going strong too. We're an episode or 2 behind on that right now.

I'll finish out the season and see what I think.

Season 2 > Season 1 > Season 3
Definitely agree. The first half of season 1 was shaky, but the second half was very good. Pretty much the whole of season 2 was very good, and now 3 is kind of a mess. I'd like to be optimistic about season 4, but I worry that the creators are just pulled in so many different directions now with Flash and the Atom spinoff that developing plot lines that make sense for Arrow has been put on the back burner.

I think season 3 has been more of a launching pad for The Atom as it has been about The Arrow.

Yeah, Arrow continues to disappoint. Something feels off...and it isn't because I wasn't binge watching like the first two seasons.

I'm interested in how the season ends.
He's got to get out of being the next R'as, right?

Well he isn't R'as yet so I am assuming so, yes. This is why I think season 4 will be very good.

The Atom is DCs Iron Man but less James Bond-y
