All 25 songs from Drake's new album are on the Billboard Hot 100. He currently holds 7/10 spots in the Top 10:

https://www.thewrap.com/drake-scores-7- ... es-record/

I get that he is very popular, and considered the best in his profession (or one of the best). But I feel like this has more to do with the dearth of quality music that actually gets airplay now.
so is this a case of a bunch of people downloading his stuff upon its release and having it fall a week later? I mean some of these drops are 50-60 spots.

Second number listed is the ranking from the previous week.

1 (6) - In My Feelings. Weeks on the top 100: 2
4 (1) - Nice for what. Weeks on the top 100: 14
6 (4) - God's plan. Weeks on the top 100: 25
11 (2) - Nonstop. Weeks on the top 100: 2
16 (7) - I'm upset. Weeks on the top 100: 7
21 (9) - Don't matter to me. Weeks on the top 100: 2
28 (13) - Mob ties. Weeks on the top 100: 2
38 (8) - Emotionless. Weeks on the top 100: 2
44 (14) - Elevate. Weeks on the top 100: 2
45 (18) - Can't take a joke. Weeks on the top 100: 2
55 (30) - Blue tint. Weeks on the top 100: 2
56 (41) - After dark. Weeks on the top 100: 2
58 (20) - Talk up. Weeks on the top 100: 2

63 (27) - Sandra's Rose. Weeks on the top 100: 2
64 (28) - Summer games. Weeks on the top 100: 2
67 (32) - Jaded. Weeks on the top 100: 2
68 (37) - That's how you feel. Weeks on the top 100: 2
69 (17) - Survival. Weeks on the top 100: 2
78 (42) - Finesse. Weeks on the top 100: 2
93 (38) - Peak. Weeks on the top 100: 2

Pentatonix was the bane of my existence when trying to find Christmas music. Good for your for the brownie points, but I can't stand one second of them.

The Night Flight Orchestra is the best band you aren't listening to. Overall, one of the most productive, consistent, and flexible modern vocalists.

Same singer as here:

Bjorn "Speed" Strid is one-of-a-kind.

As singer and founding member Mark Calderon belted out the final notes of the group’s iconic “I Wanna Sex You Up”, fellow founding member Bryan K. Abrams strolled onstage and fiercely shoved his bandmate. According to TMZ, Calderon hit some sound equipment when he fell, resulting in a trip to a local hospital to treat neck and back pain. Abrams, meanwhile, was arrested for misdemeanor assault and taken to jail.

Sources told TMZ that Abrams, frustrated over issues with his voice, left the stage earlier in the night. The Blast, meanwhile, reports that officers tell them “alcohol was a factor.” Sources also tell The Blast that Abrams screamed, “I’m m*****f***ing Color Me Badd!” when pushing Calderon. Abrams reportedly posted bail and was released early Monday morning.

"I want to apologize to each and every one of you guys..."

Based on the size of that crowd, they probably could have apologized to each individual that watched it happen within a few minutes. It looks like there's less than 100 people on the floor.

I'm just as surprised as you are. They were at The Meadows with Tone Loc this past weekend.

Demi Lovato has been hospitalized after a possible drug overdose, according to reports.

TMZ, which broke the news, says Lovato was transported to a hospital from a home in the Hollywood Hills and is currently being treated.

The Los Angeles Police Department told USA TODAY that at 11:37 a.m., authorities received a call from the 8000 block of Laurel View Drive. "We had a call out for possible overdose for a female approximately 25 years of age," said Officer Ray Brown.

LAPD would not confirm the woman's identity. Lovato is 25 and owns a home in that area.

I knew she used to have drug issues and saw some celebrity junk about her having a relapse, never thought it was heroin though. Seemed to thick to be using heroin.

It's a tribute album to Australian singer Olivia Newton-John, in which Hatfield covers thirteen songs sung by Newton-John, most of them originally released as singles. From every sale of the album, one dollar will be donated to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre, Newton-John's own cancer treatment organization.

When I was down at the beach a buddy and mine spent the evening drinking and finding good covers. My favorite of all time is the Obadia Parker cover of Hey Ya:

It's up there with Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah for me.
