Kuhl didn't look horrible, and had he not been up to bat with runners on and trailing the Rockies, he probably would've pitched longer.
I like his pitching tempo. Fast, not quite as fast as Nova, but very quick to the plate and between pitches.
Terrible attendance at last night's game...I guess people were either Yinzed out or worried about rain. Ironically, as Root was showing the sparse crowd during the 3rd or 4th inning, Stubhub notified me that my tickets to the June 30 game against the Giants had sold for almost face value. So there's that.

Former Pirate Keon Broxton, who was traded to the Brewers (along with a prospect) for Jason Rogers, hit the longest HR in the history of Busch Stadium yesterday.

Wouldn't he look good in LF right now. Or hell, CF with Cutch in RF, Polanco in LF. Whatever. ![Facepalm :face:](./images/smilies/facepalm.gif)

Bad Trade. Very Bad Trade.

The other piece dealt to the Brew Crew was Trey Supak. He dominated low a, and was recently promoted to high-a. He was drafted the same year as Keller, and both out of high school.

The saddest part about the Broxton trade is that the current Pirates team is in a situation where they miss Keon Broxton.

Can't win them all.
NH seems to do pretty well with the purely baseball trades. It's the ones required ownership, which drag down his record. In that he knows how to negotiate the paradigm, I like the idea of him sticking around.

Me too, I think NH has done way more good than bad here.I like the idea of him sticking around.
I'd prefer a different manager though. Hurdle does plenty good in the motivational, rah-rah department but I think he cancels it all out with weird line-up and in-game decisions.

Yup. He generally gets the best out of his guys, but when you hamstring the team constantly with personnel decisions, what can ya do?Me too, I think NH has done way more good than bad here.I like the idea of him sticking around.

Soooooo I guess that's the end of pretending Nicasio can share closing duties.

Using 7 (+?) pitchers is not ideal.

My God. Just win after win after win pissed away. From a team that isn't even that good. So that hurts every bit more.

Gregory Polanco is remarkably bad at baseball.

On the dim bright side for tonight, Baz seems completely likeable. Also seemed really happy with the choice he made when he was talking with Brown and Blass.

I'm going to see Indianapolis tomorrow afternoon. Any one in particular you want me to take a look at for you Pirate fans?
