Normally this time of year I see a real uptick of new members at the Y I belong to. This year, not so much. A few new members, but not the "New Year's Resolution" volume I've seen in the past.

My wife started a Snap! membership. She's a legit competitive runner though so the timing is just a coincidence more than anything.

I was a Snap! member for years. Miss that place, my work has their own gym now - but I loved going there early in the morning or late at night and being by myself.

I've worked out at home all this week in hopes that by next week the gym will be back to normal and not over run with new people. I have nothing against them... everyone has to start sometime, but yeah.

Haha. I pretty much zone out when I go there anyways cause i have headphones on, but when it's crazy packed it just annoys me. Especially when people do dumb things. Like come up and take the bike right next to me even though there is a whole row of bikes to use....drives me insane. I once had an old couple surround me.. one took the bike on my right, one took the bike on my left.. and left me in the middle... all of this when there were two bikes side by side readily available in another spot.

Today, Mrs Tif booked us a tour of the Anchor Brewery. Except when we got there, what she actually booked (quite by accident) was a tasting in the Anchor distillery. Which is not beer.
