Where Did You Go to High School?

For some reason I'm imagining everyone sitting in hockey pads, and then standing up and saying their school name and city. DUCKS FLY TOGETHER!
Mike Eruzione, Winthrop, Massachusettes..... and I play...... for THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Kenny the kangaroo's first real girlfriend graduated from alderdice and (for part of her childhood) lived in swisshelm park

does that give this gentleman any street cred with slappy? Probably not.

Scumerset Area Sr. High, Somerset, PA

We graduated 230something. 98% white. I think we had 1 black kid and 2 Asians. One white kid now has dreadlocks, if that counts for anything. ;)
Have you ever listened to Tom Segura's white girls with cornrows skit? If not, find it. Might be hard to find just it because it's the title of that CD, but it's hilarious.

Yes, thank you so much for moving to the East End Troy, however did those neighborhoods survive before rich kids from Bethel moved in.

Admittedly, Lawrenceville was trending awful in the mid-late 90s, but you're way wrong about Bloomfield.
I'm not sure how Bethel got a reputation as a rich place. Way more blue collar than USC or Mt. Lebo.
As far as snobbery went in the sahth hills, I'd go USC>Peters>Mt. Lebo>BP>South Park>North Baldwin...

Just based on the dadholes I played against/with in soccer and basketball.

Poolesville in Poolesville, MD
Poolesville? That's a pretty wealthy area IIRC. I could just be thinking of Potomac too
I think it's different now. It's become a pretty impressive school since I left (it's coincidence, you jerks). But it was like 100 red necks and 50 nerds per class. The nerds were comprised of 15 or so preppy nerds and 35 nerd nerds. The rednecks had subcategories I'm sure but I wasn't well versed in their mysterious ways.

Greater Johnstown H.S. They tore down 95% of the high school in the mid 2000s, leaving only the auditorium.

At least the 100s of rats in the school didn't go homeless and now have an upgraded place to live.

I went to that high school twice for a VB match in 2000-01. What a dump

You caught it at the very end. I thought the renovations were later, but it looks like they renovated from 1999-2003. http://www.johnstown-redevelopment.org/gjhs.htm

I got out of there a decade earlier and that place was in bad shape.

The white suburban jail that was Blackhawk HS. Like seriously...if you left your class project in your car on accident, they wouldn't let you go out to the parking lot and go get it. You'd lose a grade for having it a day late.

Different one, perhaps even twice over.

They tore down the previous high school (the one that was seen in All The Right Moves) in 1985 or 1986. There was another one that stood until the late 20s/early 30s, but I can't find much info on it online.

Well, if you consider strip clubs, pawn shops, check-cashing joints, and used car dealerships nothing, then yeah.

Oh, Jacksonville, NC you mean? ;)

I have a friend who has a lake house in Vass. I used to drive right by Bragg to get there from the coast. One of my life plans is to rejoin the military and I can't tell if going to Bragg is good or bad. I mean, it's east coast and relatively close to home and all, but it's **** Bragg.
