I'm apparently in the minority in that I'd like Timmons to remain a Steeler for the next 1-2 years.

I'd take Timmons for maybe one year if the price was right. Draft his replacement and let the replacement learn from him and Shazier. Harrison, it sucks that our linebackers are that bad outside of maybe Dupree.

This is being posted mainly to annoy @dodint:
20. Pittsburgh Steelers — Charles Harris, OLB, Missouri
Harris a linebacker who is versatile, with the ability to play standing up outside in a 3-4 or with his hand in the dirt. For Pittsburgh he could be the player Bud Dupree hasn’t become yet.
@CBear3 -- is he any good?

Our defense was a joke as a unit this year, a major step back. Hard to pick out individual talent when it's such a dumpster fire, but he's a bonafide athlete and former basketball player. Mainly a speed rusher, known for his spin move...lackluster in run defense. Kind of shocked to seem him in the first round.

Ramon Foster has been fined by the league for defending his running back from the extremely dirty play by Kelvin Sheppard, when he was trying to twist Bell's head off after a play. Meanwhile, Sheppard's actions were completely ignored by the league.

I was given a tour of our facility today and someone was wearing a 1967 Steelers 'Batman' throwback, but with Antonio Browns name and number on it.

Kind of a peeve of mine because that jersey never had nameplates to begin with. I have one, but it's a properly configured Andy Russell.

New Orleans signed Travis Feeney from the practice squad to their active roster.

You mean sweep it under the rug because they know they can since Brady and the Patriots aren't involved?

KC - week 4 - W - 18 rush 144 yds 5 rec - 23 total touches
NYJ - week 5 - W - 20 rush 66 yds 9 rec - 29 total touches
MIA - week 6 - L - 10 rush 53 yds 6 rec - 16 total touches
NEP - week 7 - L - 21 rush 81 yds 10 rec - 31 total touches
BYE
BAL - week 9 - L - 14 rush 32 yds 6 rec - 20 total touches
DAL - week 10 - L - 17 rush 57 yds 9 rec - 26 total touches
CLE - week 11 - W - 28 rush 146 yds 8 rec - 32 total touches
IND - week 12 - W - 23 rush 120 yds 4 rec - 27 total touches
NYG - week 13 - W - 29 rush 118 yds 6 rec - 35 total touches
BUF - week 14 - W - 38 rush 236 yds 4 rec - 42 total touches

excluding the games against the 2 best teams in the NFL, there seems to be a direct proportionality in leveon touches to win probability. i suppose a chicken/egg argument could be made here, and no offense to ben, but leveon is too good to give him less than 28 touches per week

In regards to the ball-testing thing. I thought they put protocol in place to make sure the refs were testing them instead of the teams?

So after rolling with a 4 (sometimes 5) OLB rotation all season, yesterday saw Harrison get 52 snaps, Dupree 51, and Chickillo 1. No defense snaps for Jarvis or Moats.

Really?

I swear Jarvis blew up an RB in the backfield. Popped him real hard right at the line.

Guess not. Weird.

PFR has him with no credited tackles though. Makes me wonder what I'm remembering, but I already deleted the game off of my DVR.

If the giants found an issue, I think you have to blame the officials. I mean, you can't have ball boys taking the game balls into the bathroom anymore right?

I too often find myself confusing the slow linebacker with dreadlocks for the fast linebacker with alopecia.
