Man....I ain't gonna lie. When I saw that Star Destroyer in the sand I shed a tear of joy...
That opening shot looks fantastic.

Not a fan of Star Was... sequentially in the story and sequentially in real life, this is #7 right?
Yes

Which is one of the billions of things wrong the with those other three movies. No sense of epicness.

At worst I guess they would get a little grey hair (but Chewbacca's also live longer than humans).

That was fantastic, but I have to be honest: I'm not sure I want to see old Han Solo. Old Luke makes sense to me. Old Han is depressing.

I'm trying to keep my hopes down so as not to have a repeat of the prequel disappointment. But that's proving to be impossible.

This really feels like Star Wars, though. It looks gritty, the new characters look like they fit in the world, the costumes have wear, etc. It's everything the prequels should have been.

I'm completely stunned that the droid is not CGI. I can't wrap my head around how it works.

Disney specializes in that kind of imagineering. Wouldn't look out of place at all in WDW. I freakin' love it!

He does look much older than I expected.

Yeah, I'm 41 years old and really got excited when I saw the Millennium Falcon, the crashed Star Destroyer, and of course Han and Chewie at the end. Like I've been listening to the original score and wanting to tell everyone at work about it. Of course, I work with mostly menopausal women, so no one to talk about it. My kids will be in bed by the time I get done with work, so it will wait until tomorrow. :/

I guess you guys will suffice.

Watched it with my 6 year old....she asked if we could go watch it right now...was legitimately bummed when I said we had to wait until December....she said, "That is a long time from now."....and I said, "I know."

If GoT gets two threads shouldn't Star Wars get one of its own? Seems obvious.

Chewie is about 200 during the first movie (Ep4). Wookiees live to about 400.
